Hi there,

very very long time lurker but first time poster

I'm coming into vegas tomorrow with my younger brother who is 20. we will be staying until monday morning. I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas for things to do that dont require being 21?
are there any 18-21 night clubs that are good?
are there any no-alcohol/indian poker rooms that are for 18+ (like the seminole hard rock in florida)?

basically - what is good to do in las vegas as it is both of our first times here. any restaurant recommendations that are worth going to? attractions? theme parks/water parks?

Neon museum (I suggest doing a bit of web research if you have never been there, there are some YouTube video about it), Mob museum, pinball museum, wander the strip like the Wynn/Venetian area and check out them properties. Maybe the Stratesphere observation tower to see the city. Pawn Stars shop is right there also, American Restoration place, Kounts cars but dont know if you can just walk in there. That is a few things he would probably like.

I second the pinball hall of fame. Also shows, food etc. While a ton of vegas is about drinking and gambling, there's tons to do apart from that.

The strip area isn't really set up for under 21 year olds. I agree with the various museums. Unless he's a fan of the shows, I wouldn't bother with the Pawn Shop or American Restoration. Kounts is ok if he's a gear head.

Besides that there is the pool at the hotel. A trip to the Grand Canyon is worth seeing and it kills an entire day. Hoover Dam can also be interesting if he's an engineering buff.

Edit: sorry that was teed up for me. The stratosphere rides are cool. The roller coaster rides at nyny. The Hoover dam. Fremont street zip line. Not sure if gun shooting is 21+. Golf. Arcades. Pools.

If you have access to transportation and like hiking/nature/outdoors, Red Rock National Park is close. Its hot as balls though so might want to make the longer drive to Mt. Charleston. Its maybe an hour and a half from the strip but its 20-30 degrees cooler. Lots of cool hikes and such.
