Best slots? Best slots?

Ok let me be the first to say I barely ever play slots in vegas, in fact if I went by myself I probably would never have tried them. But as pointed out by King they are the best way to earn comps.

If I am playing nickel slots are there any better ones in terms of odds/payouts then others or no? When I ask this I would like a technical answer and not just what ones you consider lucky.

Also which properties are the best for this? Preferably only nicer casinos and id probably prefer mgm properties.

Thanks,

I don't do slots much but I played the wheel of fortune penny slots last summer and made almost 700 bucks off them in 2 days.

Solid sample size. What was the RTP? Where did you play? I gotta get in on this action!

Video Poker. Jacks or Better Game. 9/6 is the payout structure. AINEC = and it's not even close.

VP will offer better pay tables than any slot. You can look up optimal strat and what are the best games in each casino with a pretty simple google search.

In general, for slots, the higher denoms will pay back a higher % of coin in than lower denoms.

Ended up over 1k on the slots there with a witness here on 2+2 lol. Then hit up the same in Atlantic city for a few hundred. It's all dumb luck but those machines and I get along

At the nickel (and quarter) level you can find Deuces Wild (DW) which pays over 100% at 100.76%. Most of the Station casinos probably have it, but here is a list of every casino for your search.

Furthmore, here is the Wizard of Odds Deuces Wild strategy chart. search around the site and you'll also find a java practice game where you can play/practice for free.

Cherries Jubilee @ MGM. Look for machines with $1026+ on their jackpot payout. These machines will hit within a few hundred invested.

OP is looking for slots to play to earn comps, not Video Poker. At MGM properties you earn I believe 1 point for every $10 played through Video Poker and 1 point for every $2 played thru a slot machine. You also will get better offers by playing slots as opposed to playing Video Poker.

I dont really have an idea of what slots you should play but just thought I would put that out there.

Yes, each machine has it's own progressive jackpot. It starts at $1000, and I've seen it as high as $1045. It seems that after it reaches $1026 it's ready to payout. But people hit them all the time no matter where the progressive payout is at.

My first trip to Vegas in Dec of 2000 I was staying at MGM and happened to walk by a crowd of people and a lot of commotion. They had barely clothed hot girls and a guy with a megaphone in front of this new bank of slots, the Cherry Jubilees and they were giving out light up Yo Yo's and cheap Las Vegas coffee mugs.

So I wrangled a seat by knocking some oxygen tank dragging old lady over and started playing. Everyone around me was hitting. $1015 here, $1008 there, $1006 over there. Everyone was winning and having fun except me. I proceeded to lose $400 or $500 in about a half hour. I was pretty pissed so I demanded that the guy give me a light up Yo Yo and a Las Vegas coffee mug. He obliged and I walked away. I still use that coffee mug to this day.

I hope you have better luck than I did on those Cherry Jubilees Lee2k!

go to the high limit slot area and look for someone playing without a club card. strike up a friendly conversation full of compliments and accolades. Turn on the charm.

Then mention that you would like to go visit your sick mother before she dies and you could really use the points and could they pretty please let you put your card in their machine while they play.

Bam. points out the wazoo. easy game.

Go to the high limit slot area and find the unicorn that is playing without a club card. Strike up a friendly conversation full of compliments and accolades, while ignoring the host who is ready to toss you out on your weaselly ass.
