Using my Harrah's comp for my brother in law? Using my Harrah's comp for my brother in law?

For my upcoming trip, my wife and I are staying at the Palazzo. My brother in law and his wife are coming as well but can't afford the pricey digs. I do have comps at Harrah's. Does anyone see a problem with me booking a Harrah's room under my name and having them stay there? I understand that I would have to be with them at check-in and they would have to use their credit card for incidentals.

(cough cough) You will be sleeping in the room with them right! (cough cough)..

I do this all the time, i let my friends and family use my comped room while I (cough cough) sleep on the floor.

You can put their name on the reservation as well, and if anything happens you are across the street.

Should I have my name and both of their names on the reservation? Or is my name plus one of them enough?

Just have the reservation in your name. When you check-in, you can list one of them as being in the room with you so that if they lose a key, they can get a replacement at the desk without you having to walk over to do it for them.

Yup, don't see a problem with this at all. My friends do this for each other all the time in AC...I mean, i don't know about Vegas, and this isn't meant to sound insulting or anything, but I don't think they really care, lol.

Like everyone in this thread has said. You go to the front desk with them, hand them your ID and your BIL's ID and CC and your good to go.

I stay/play at the trop when ever I go to AC...Do the casinos notice when you reserve a room for the night and have no play to show for it?

Would this affect future offers from my host?? Or does it not matter as long as my play stays the same when I do gamble?

If you use a free or discounted room offer, it is safest to at least put in some play at the casino. Harrah's has some fine print saying they may charge you for the room if you don't put in any play. Not sure they would actually bother doing that, but they probably would cut off future room offers. My Harrah's offers have decreased recently, and I think it may be because I have stayed in one of their properties and only played a little there.

At the least, they'll stop giving you offers. At the most, they'll charge you for the room. If it's a printed offer you're using, check the fine print- often it will say something to the effect of "rate/offer is contingent upon maintaining play at historical levels."
