Made a lot of money playing online poker during the good old days. Since then I've been trying to grind it out playing 1-2 to 2-5, I'm telling you it's much harder then it seems. If I didn't have a good bankroll, I'd be barely surviving.
Played at most of the rooms in Vegas, not a big enough difference to say which has the worst players. Poker is boring, need a job!

Played in LV this past week...mostly 2-5 but also some 1-3 at the Wynn..you definitely have to bounce from table to table if you want to max out a good hourly rate.. I Crack up at 2+2ers on here who advise sticking to one game , one seat or one room..
Couple years ago Resorts World Manilla lowered their rake to 5%..It was sweet winning a 400 peso pot and only paying a 20 peso rake..I felt like I could limp in just about every pot and have + value
I'd love it if the Caesars move influenced other LV casino's to go with 5%. Unlikely but definitely a dream scenario for 1-2 or 1-3 grinders.

But what's the max rake?
Because a $400 pot would only pay a rake of $4...
Is there ever a year where they don't move it? I don't play there all that much but I think I've played in at least 4 different locations, and I haven't played in it's current location.

I have never once seen someone on 2+2 suggest to stay at one table. In fact its very often suggested to table/game select.
I think there are lots of people who have a preferred room and many who know better that settle in at a table and stay they when there are much better opportunities elsewhere, even in the same room.
But I do agree that I have really seen anyone advising folks stay at the same table.
when I was in town I played at the Flamingo Caesars Harris the Venetian and the wynn. I rank the rooms like this the wynn the Venetian the Flamingo Caesars and Harrahs
Ive played a grand total of 7 hours of poker at the Red Rock and now I have 21 free nights at their hotel during the WSOP..Now that's one hell of a promo!..Based on my limited experience when playing small stakes (1-2 1-3) ..I have to move RR up to #1 ahead of the Wynn on my list..
