I just found a Sigma Derby (horseracing) machine @MGM.

Any other tips for a group of 6 other than the usual Blackjack and Craps stuff?

Thanks a lot!

MGM isn't the only one with Sigma.

These might be fun for a group of people. It is craps but everyone has there own seat and electronic betting monitor. You can basically fill the seats with your group. Dice are in the bubble and each player takes turns pressing the button that activates the dice. Stakes are as low as $1 I think it so can cater to different pocket books.

I've always been a sucker for Crazy 4 Poker.
Although when I say sucker, according to my MGM records, I'm actually 4k up on the thing.

Pai Gow Poker remains the best sit-around-and-drink-cheap table game there is.

Ultimate Texas Hold'em is the best table game in terms of RTP besides blackjack with good rules or full odds on 5x or better craps. Perfect play gives a theoretical house edge of .52%. The strategy is complex though and the variance is massive.

A year or two ago, I was watching some guys playing that machine, trying to figure out how the betting worked and if there was a strategy. Really watching the game itself more than the players, when one of them yelled out (good-naturedly), "What a ripoff!" because his horse got taken at the wire.

Of course, this caused me to actually look at the players and realize it was Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson from Rush, who were playing the Grand Garden the next night.

Didn't notice if Neil Peart was around.

Pai Gow tiles; if you don't vary your bet, the variance is low and it's difficult to win or lose money; great drinking game and good for comps; downside: it takes a little work to learn how to play well, but you can always ask that your hand be set the house way which is sort of like optimal strategy blackjack.

I have it on good authority that there are *some* Sigma Derby machines that can be beaten. There is a version that allows betting on single horses (most of them require an exacta bet). There were overlays possible with the machines with a single horse bet and it was being hit by various advantage players over the years.

This.

To answer the original question, did you mean games such as "pick a number between 1 & 10" or "guess which hand its in"?

If so, the answer is "rock, paper, scissors". Choosing to play "paper" is + ev.
