Best Luxury Hotel in Vegas?

Been to Vegas lots of times but not for 3 years and was wondering what the best luxury hotel was these days?

Last time I went we stayed at the Wynn which we really enjoyed. Also stayed at the Venetian which we didn't like.

Price not an object. Looking for luxury, great service, good dining options, good location and must have casino with poker room.

TIA

Bellagio, Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, and Aria. Those are top choices I'd say...

Re: Best Luxury Hotel in Vegas?

I was always a huge fan of Bellagio, but I stayed last June and rooms were getting aged. I heard they have remodeled, but I'm sure room quality is still not compareable to Encore or Aria. Bellagio also doesn't have a day pool party spot like Aria (liquid) and Encore (beach club) For a nice laid out, fun casino Bellagio is great. My favorite place to play poker is The Wynn because of the hot girls walking by the rail and the cool staff. Aria has my new fav restaurant Jean Georges. Never been a big fan of Venetian either

Encore>Wynn>Aria imo. But I like Aria's location better.I never stayed at Bellagio, so no opinion.

Well if money no object then Bellagio fountain villas are the best. Then I would take the Hard Rock pool house second.

Was going to say this as well. The walk to the Aria poker room must be similar to staying in an Encore or Palazzo guest room and walking to the Wynn or Venetian poker rooms.

Mandarin Oriental casino and poker room?

I haven't stayed, but I have also heard the hotel is the best. If you want the best, maybe worth making the effort to walk a couple hundred yards to a casino/poker room.

Given your remit, and depending on what poker/casino action you need, Encore.

The walk from Mandarin Oriental to the Aria poker room is prolly not longer than the walk from Encore to the Wynn poker room.

Re: Best Luxury Hotel in Vegas?

His remit specifically said must have casino and poker room. When we get to the point where we are measuring corridor length to work out if a room close to the elevator in Encore is closer to the Wynn poker room than a room in the Wynn at the far end of the corridor, or if route A is covered while route B is uncovered but 200 yards shorter, it's probably gone a bit too far.

If you need a casino because of your comp action, then I understand staying in that hotel. Otherwise, they are all a trivial walk to anyone not in dreadful health.

Re: Best Luxury Hotel in Vegas?

cosmo is amazing. casino yes, poker room no. but it's right between aria and bellagio, so you have two very good poker options.

it has excellent dining options, great location, excellent balcony if you spring for a wraparound suite.

I've stayed at Aria. The ledge seperating the shower and tub is like 4 feet high. Ledge at Venetian is only 3'6''.

And it is HOT in vegas in the summer but do what you want.

OT.

Can't go wrong with Encore and Wynn. I like Aria alot, mainly because of the pokerroom.
