I get that and that's one of the reasons the Borgata is one of the best rooms in the country. They treat poker players better than anywhere else.

With that being said, degens gonna degen imo. The commerce is a joke in terms of customer service/comps/ambiance and it's the biggest poker room in the world.

Maybe if they had good customer service they'd be even bigger.

At the end of the day, casinos could give two ****s less about poker players since they basically just take up space and provide no revenue at all (in comparison to people who play pit games anyway) and I never expect to be treated as more than just a parasite that takes money out of the casinos pockets.

With that rant aside, I've found the bellagio floors and dealers to be perfectly reasonable and I enjoy the room especially since they freed up a bit of space between the tables.
This is a pretty dumb post. Office culture can make all the difference in workplace happiness regardless of comp. I'd give up a few bucks an hour to be around people I like.

In retrospect, I kind of agree. Sorry, I have a tendency to speak in hyperbole.

Let me restate my point in a less over the top way: I am ok with not being treated like a rock star if the games are good/fun. I have played at the B a lot and have always heard people complain about how poorly they were treated, and I never really experienced that myself.

Perhaps living in NYC for so long as gotten me accustomed to rude behavior so I don't notice it anymore.

Word. I haven't had many problems at Bellagio with staff except for Mary (the dealer). She's the saltiest person on the planet.

Agree with this - and your first post. Say over an 8-10 hour session, how much interaction do you have with the floor anyway? Maybe a couple of times? Its worth it for good games IMO.

Bellagio staff attitude has definitely improved, but could still go farther. I definitely choose rooms based on customer service first, action second.

I don't like being treated like I'm a piece of **** anytime I go somewhere. But besides their deplorable attitudes came list hopping and shady as hell rulings in the favor of locals as well as awful juiced in dealers that slow the game down costing me money. Fortunately this stuff is largely gone now.

Bellagio floor is hit or miss. The big bald guy is awesome. Dealers are pretty great, have never had any major issues with any of them. The older salty dealer from Philly is one of my favorites, as is the one who looks a little like Sarah Silverman. Joey deals faster than lightning, he's a favorite as well.
