I don't doubt that it's been discussed given MGM PGP.

I'd assume they are closing the fountains.... so they can dismantle Drake's stage they setup.

I actually don't care about the fountains. That area has a lot of street performers and it's too crowded.

Yes, I know. That other one wasn't. The joke is that he used that april fools article as his source.

Why would you normally be out walking around that part of the strip?

I didn't mean him, specifically. I thought your question was directed at the public, in general.

I avoid walking in that area because of the crowds and street performers. But I know they are there because I've walked that area before and I can see all the people there when I'm across the street or about to park at Bellagio.

And I'm just giving my opinion. It's like that volcano show at Mirage. I don't care for it, but when the show is going a bunch of tourists will stop, look, film, and many are probably seeing it for the first time so they enjoy it. But for me, I've seen it before and wouldn't miss it if it disappeared.

If they turn those places into shopping areas, I probably wouldn't care for that either btw.

Oh, no. Just Stever. I get why that area is obviously packed though.

Looks like the RJ took down that Robin Leach column. So hilarious he was duped, but he's not really known for his journalistic chops, is he?

Robin Leach is still alive? Who knew outside of Vegas?

Maybe they can use the fountain real estate for a free parking lot.

I would fill in the Fountain area with the most profitable crap imaginable.

Move the Fountains to the back of the property

$$$

The sidewalk has become one big costumed pan handling nuisance.

I'm surprised Hookers aren't turning tricks right on the sidewalk.

On the opening night of the Piff the Magic Dragon show in Vegas about a year or two ago, I sat next to Robin Leach in a tiny Flamingo theater. As we were leaving the show and Piff was going out to sign autographs, have pictures taken etc. Robin Leach, in his well known Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous voice, came up to him and asked that now that he was working he should repay the money that he owed him. Welcome to Vegas Piff!

Actually I have had hookers approach me and proposition me right around that area before. It's happened a couple of times in fact.

They do that in the Bellagio bars too, so not surprising.

I feel like the majority of hookers is on the other side of the Strip though, in the Bally's area.

Yeah, I've been approached by hookers in that area as well. Most recently was between Paris and Bally's. Another time was on the corner across from the two gas stations and the 7-11.

Actually the ones I was referring to previously weren't directly in front of the Bellagio fountains, just in that general area. Once well I was exiting the Aria and another time when I was exiting Ceasars. Not like right at the doors of the casino, but exiting the property still.
