Hi,
Looking to do Vegas this Christmas-NewYears.
Which if any casino's have non-holdem games on a regular bases.
I have looked at AllVegasPoker.com and found an app for my iPhone which list most of the rooms, but is anyone playing omaha/stud/horse. Limits 10/20 or under.
Thanks,
Chris

Venetian & Orleans will be your best choices

Venetian will have a 4/8 and 8/16 O8 very often as well as some mixed games in that range. Orleans almost always has a 4/8 O8. Red Rock will have a 4/8 O8 from mid afternoon until mid evening. Every Wednesday Sun Coast has a 4/8 Stud8 at noon that runs until about 6pm. Sam's Town has a 1-5 stud hi that starts daily about 7am.

Does Sam's still have that goofy stud 8 game?

The "Hoggie" stud8 game died because the leader passed away. There is interest in reviving it and I've given my number out to people who are trying to reorganize it. AFAIK the only stud8 in town is Wed at Suncoast standard 4/8.

How about tourneys? Do any casinos run omaha or O8 tourneys these days?

Interesting mix of games @ the IP on sunday. I have never played a double flop game.
Might have to check it out, but the Orleans web site shows they hold a HORSE tournament on Sunday. Has anyone played it in? Any comments on how the turn outs are?

I played it in 2008. I did very well in the games I knew, but poorly in the
games I did not know. But then I made an effort to try them all. I should
have folded preflop on some. It went smoothly. Everyone is friendly. LasVegasMichael would prompt you about things you should about the various games. We had two tables running. The regulars want you to make
a night of it and join them in drinks. It was fun.

The players who start the game get to choose.

Expect TD 2-7, badugi/badeucy/badacey, stud/8, and omaha/8 to be regular games in the mix.

Too bad, will be in Vegas this Sunday but I was thinking of playing the HORSE tournament @ the Orleans on Sunday night.

Anyone played in the Orleans HORSE tournament? Any one know the size of the field or any other first hand info?
Thanks,
