Re: Any locals sell Hotel Comps these days?
I have emailed a couple people, but never got a reply. Seems the rooms take ore to get and people don't share as much as they used to. Not sure if not as many comps, or hotels more strict.
If anyone gets in touch, let us know how it works out. Also, you might check the marketplace.

Cheers. I had a look through there too. I also contacted one of the people that used to do it on here and got no reply. Oh well, just a thought and I'll try again just before due to arrive.

Good luck. Haven't had any fortune this way, but hope yours will be better.

Re: Any locals sell Hotel Comps these days?
I get rooms but it's only 1 or 2 nights at a time and I'm not really feeling it's worth the potential risk and hassle to try and sell them for $30 or whatever it would be. People who dump enough money on table games and machines to get full weeks may feel the same about $300. That might be why you're having trouble finding someone.

Re: Any locals sell Hotel Comps these days?
I've got current comps, and I have a couple comps coming to me in the first week of November, at the Rio, Gold Nugget, and 4 Queens. Not the fanciest places, and you'd have to do some moving from one to the other, but if you're interested let me know. If my friends don't want them I might be willing to sell them.
Usually when I get comps it's only for 3-4 days at a time. It's a matter of juggling dates and so forth. The Harrah's properties only let me have 3 reservations at any given time, and they make you have at least 48 hours between the end of one reservation and the start of a new one.

Check Harrah's and Bally's. I saw rates for as low as $38/night there. And The Orlean's has cheap room rates as well.

Re: Any locals sell Hotel Comps these days?
Thanks. I have a WSOP rate at Rio from 4th onwards. $59 weeknights $99 w/e. The night of 3rd is not covered by the promo and the same room is US$450!!!!
I booked at Orleans for the two nights of 3rd and 4th for US$95per, those two nights are expensive everywhere - must be a big convention or something.
Still open to any comps if better offer comes in but set with backup plan of Orleans which I don't hate. ty to all who replied.

To those who sent me PM's with questions about comps, I should have replied to all. If you didn't get a reply from me, PM me again and let me know.

Re: Any locals sell Hotel Comps these days?
I now have a room comp for Bally's, from December 14th-16th. I've already booked it but found out that I won't be using it. Anyone need a room there on those dates? Rate is reasonable.

Re: Any locals sell Hotel Comps these days?
Isn't this kind of a big risk? Someone could charge all of their meals to the room and the cost goes to the person whose name it's comped under.
