Sorry don't hv twitter but in reply to 10/20 Asian kid hand. I think he would probably raise most turns in which he were ahead with the board being so heavy. I also believe he could have a hand like 77-1010 and u could be getting great value. Either way considering ur 3 bet preflop I think your river bet is in line with the whole hand. I really like the line.

I don't think I'd like that line if I were the Asian kid... that is, unless I had the mortal nuts, of course.

Re: Another kid Another dream tl;dr

Just adding a "just read the whole thing + awesome" post.

What surprised me most is that it's still ongoing.

Now I'll probably get annoyed when I look in this forum and it's a bunch of posts like mine here. But I figured after all the reading would give a shout of appreciation.

Don't know what's better, stacking @phil_hellmuth or getting to listen to what he actually thinks about me.

Sounds like another winning TR coming up.

As everyone else has said, unbelievable read. I am new to 2+2, have lurked before, but this read was captivating. Spent a couple of days on and off reading the entire thread (well at least all of MM's posts). You are a great writer Matt and if poker turns its ugly head as it likes to do, you have a great career ahead of you putting pen to paper. Hope you stay on the right side of variance and continue playing good poker.

+1302 on just read it all the whole thing. Took me a few days off and on but it was a great read. It is really an inspiration to get back on the grind. Keep up the great work, and keep living the dream.

Thumbs up Re: Another kid Another dream tl;dr

EPIC journey, epic read.

I think I read that you were dreaming about writing a book. You've already done it, this blog could easily be the basis for a book. As I read this, I could easily put myself in your place as you described some of the gut wrenching emotions and highs that you've experienced. It takes a lot of honesty and courage to share everything you've shared with your readers. Go for it kid.
