Phil Ivey got flamed for mucking the winning flush at the featured table a few years ago. Are you saying that we shouldn't flame great players when they make big mistakes?

How is a rejam with 17BBs getting so much hate? Not like it's a totally standard play but I'm sure you can make up many situations where it's both +EV and +cEV to do so.

Nobody is hating. And I know everyone in this thread is supposed to drink the kool-aid, yadda yadda, but the WSOP update showed the bb as 10,000 during the hand, and then raised to 12,000. Starting the hand with either 40 bb or 34 bb depending on which level it really was, it seems like a loose jam. If it really was a 17.5 bb jam, it means he was raised 16 bb, which doesn't sound right on a couple levels.

So, no hating, no flaming, people are just trying to figure out why the numbers don't seem to work out.

Pokernews didn't have my updates chip stack. I started the entire hand with 17bbs. The hand before which wasnt reported, I got QQ in vs AT and lost the majority of my chips

matt: i'm sure you have enough fanboys, but thanks for writing this. i still don't know whether i'll ever play poker "professionally", but i know i'm a hell of a lot more informed now.

would definitely look you up for poker and/or life coaching next time i'm in vegas, if for no other reason then to give you some money for writing this. (though obv not sure whether you'd want to coach someone playing your games if you're still going to be a regular in bellagio 10/20-10/20/40)
