Oh yeah went to Chada last night. Always delicious. I went with a Laotian friend and he asked for papaya salad Laotian style. (I think that means with shrimp paste)

Tonight I didn't have much appetite. Didn't even ask for the girl to cook. I just bought some comped starbucks to take back to the crib and we watched game of thrones.

Gotta wake up early to take the girl to another potential job and then 11am start for a regular 1500 nlhe event at Rio.

Sucks getting that close to some big payouts just to get coolered, but still plenty of summer left.

Got it in with fd+2 overs in 3 way pot. Got one fold and ran into a set. Didn't get there.

Didn't do much after that. Went to Aria to get my mlife card. They have one gate in one gate out. Major traffic problems. The gates are also on an incline. Such a bad idea.

Went to dinner with friends at Firefly. Very much worth it. It gets very busy in the evening. Think of it as Julian Serrano but more affordable.

Okay most pics half eaten because we were hungry and Katana has something against ppl taking pics of food.


Ham and cheese croquettes.


Petit filet with potatoes, garlic spinach and mushrooms. Great deal for like 15 bucks I think. Girl had it all to herself and didn't offer Katana any lmao. Behind that is the goat cheese with tomatoes. Reaaaallly good stuff.


The comp bread. We asked for thirds because we needed to soak up all of the sauces from the other dishes. Not pictured: scallops, clams and chorizo, spanish tortilla.


Gf wanted dessert. So we got the trio of Gelato. Pretty good. Especially the chocolate and the pistachio. Awesome flavor and texture... the vanilla not so much. The others got the lemon tart and the chocolate cake. Unfortunately did not snap those for the food pr0n. Katana skipped dessert like a nit.
