Also make a flush with A3cc small pot

We peak at 7.7k

Then raise fold AJcc v a re raise and a shove.

Also go a bit with QQ 1 limper i 3.5x bb only caller

Flop K high i bet, he calls. Turn A...check check...river 2... check check he had K7o :-(

Then win 1k with 88
And shove 99 v a late open

Puts at 5.1k at near end of level 4.

Now just raised KK 3x v same loose fish. He calls. Flop A83ccc. We have no club, he donk leads 2x pot. We fold, he shows Kc.

Need to make a pair vs this fool, hate grinding bowls vs a table of loose fish.

First break 4.9k

I agree. Had kind of a similar experience today.

While the first day is a turbo all in fest to some level the 1 million prize and softer field makes up for that with a $500 buy in

Absolute rollercoaster ride here at 2/5 cash

Moved table 4 times, one thing to note, the dealers are BAD! 1 in 10 are decent, the rest clueless :-(

Not sure il give much time here.

Games wise, been decent, got money in a mile infront, get screwed a few times, in for a total of 2600, and currently have 2635, i cracked AA with 32dd and the turnt the nut straight with KQ v AJ on A103JK, and he shoves river after check raising turn.

cash games suck at the rio. bad dealers, games super slow, poor floors/organisation and people trying to angle shoot. better to play cash on the strip imo

Wynn is my place of choice, Bellagio gets too busy, may give them a call and go on a list but the $500 max buy in at 2/5 is a little off putting.

So i wake up late, im by the pool now for a few hours, plan on going Wynn for cash around 7ish and probably playing the $1k at Venetian tomorrow.


Actually not going to the Rio much after yestadays experiance, and think the Wynn or other rooms are better value and a much better place to be playing cash than the circus at the pavillion room.

awful atmosphere for cash at Rio too - like, somehow the mtts in a huge room is exciting and OK, but for cash to be in an aircraft hanger just doesn't feel right

A disaster day

so it happened, a 4k loser today in the books. 2/5 started out ok at the wynn, won a few small pots, then all my big hands got SMASHED, hands of note...

JJ v 1010 on J 9 7 2 8, he check jams $800 on turn in a 3bet pot.
AK v KQ 3 way, i 4bet to 220 and get 2 callers, flop is K 8 5 dd, get check raise to 600, we go with it, turn Q, river K, he has KQo for the 3k pot shipped the wrong way
AA v QQ pre for $1.1k each window card Q

those are the main big ones, lots of small pots, amazing how loose people call you when you have a losing image

tomorrow, we will be playing the $1k Venetian MSPT, probably late reg a couple levels in, it has $2.5m prizepool, needs over 800 runners a flight average, so should be busy and lots of value.

Then JJ v 1010 double to 44k


Then lose AQcc v 77 v 86 on 7 5 4 9 ccc river 9.


Then Aj v Aj he makes J flush and just like that from 2x avg back to short stack.

i personally don't enjoy tourney poker. i admittedly am not a good short stack player. but you seem to be well versed in this format, and fwiw you have some folks here pulling for you. good luck bud

Head to Bellagio, play 2/5, get our 500 up to 1300. Then get it in with JJ on QJ6dd flop, lose to AQ goes runner runner 4 diamonds on board.

We take our remaining chips and head to the 5/10

Decent game, in for 1000, have 1350 after winning a small pot with KK and AK

Other than being asian, Bill Chen looks nothing like that.
