The time to do that is during the Commerce WPT in the early part of the year. It's about 6 weeks long. Some Vegas pros make their whole year's expenses on that one trip.

So the 50min short flight to vegas from burbank was quick and easy. A stop off at wallmart for a big stock up ($200 later) for some semi sensible foods for at least 1 maybe 2 meals a day (lost 50lbs in the last 14weeks)

No decent tournament today so its straight to the 2/5 @ the wynn, in for $1000 and up $100 since i starting typing this. Witnessed an english guy hit a 1 out.... board is 10 5 6 9 6 and all the money goes in and his 66 river the 1010 of some old tight guy.

Game is average, 2 chinese ladies spewing, and a few abc players and a few fish.

Probably playing the $400 bounty tomorrow at the V, and then catch up with my buddy who flys in friday for part 1 of 2 of his vegas trips for this WSOP, our first trip to the rio is likely to be the $565 event.

Anyway, back to the grind here, hoping to earn enough comps here for a huge blow out meal towards the end of the trip!

Ps now + $260 when finishing this ;-)

3 hours later and we rack up after the game got filled with huge stacked local regs, so out for a 770 winner after value betting the **** out of the same french guy 3 hands in 1 orbit, he stood his ground with 3rd pair or worse and I got 3 streets 3 times with top pair medium kicker ;-)

great recovery in LA after your that won losing session; games sound really good and you're not hesitant to take advantage by getting the $ in; nice start to vegas part 2 as well; great updates!

Great TR and it is making me miss Vegas and the WSOP, not going to get out this year.

After meeting with a friend who grinds the UK and Europe tournament circuit, we grab a bite at grand lux, and just got seated in the $400 bounty event. 52 entries so far but expecting big numbers. $100 for a KO.

So they seated us right next to the sportsbook, and its loud, real loud.


We wiff AQ AK AK, win a few small pots with junk and then lose 2k with AA v AQss flop sss.

Then we 3bet AA and get 3 callers. 9 6 6 flop we bet 2.5k, 1 caller, heads up, shove brick turn and he calls with JJ and we double to 21k.

Then again wiff AK

Then flat 55 multiway

Flop J 6 5 hh, and get it in v AJhh, we hold good for a bounty and 33k stack 13k avg.


We miss a big draw with Q9cc on Kc Jc x

Then bluff catch with A4cc v 99 on A J 5 7 8

Then KO a short stack with AJ v KJ. Good for 36k going to 150/300 25a

Missed 3 flush draws...2 with A3dd v KK and KQ

27 left, short now after a few bounty punts and QQ lose to A10 (A river!)

Got 40k @ 1k/2k and the clueless donkey stations have mountains of chips so its shove mode. (Avg 52k)
