So after the mirage stroll through the cromwell, harrahs and the lynx. Thats were i spot in and out and go straight there! Been waiting a long time for this, and it didnt dissapoint (they even gave me a paper hat!)



Then we head back towards our hotel, end up swinging by fat tuesday's and find myself a tad drunk and sat in a 1/2 game at the venitian. Im way too tired to consider a tournament, so i splash around in this cash game for a couple hours, i get JJ v KK and flop is Q J x x x and win a nice pot, then 33 on J 4 3hh and all the money goes in 3 way v J4 and A7hh and turn is Jx. Also made a good river call with A7 on 9 7 4 5 4 when the other guy shoves. End the session +$230


Finally a quick stop in Gilleys where theres karaoke and bull riding going on


Finally get some sleep at 11pm vegas time, after being awake near 24 hours, ready to start tomorrow at the pool and maybe peppermill for breakfast :-)

I'm jealous about Peppermill, the traditional breakfast spot of Stardust all-nighter degens. Of all the times I stayed at the stardust, I never had breakfast there.

Nice trip report so far. Was hoping you were somehow psychic and actually binked 1st after you mentioned you were gunning for it and made your flight around that tourney.

Thats not me, got a few action shots of him falling off but that was the best.

Today has mostly been by the pool, going for some food downtown and join my friends on their tradition of mermaids and heavy drinking and low stake slots action. Will probably swing by golden nugget for a few hours and get a reasonably early night so we can get another good day at the pool.

This time next week the real poker action will start so this is more a teaser :-)

Im good in the sun, have light olive skin and catch a good tan within a few hours.

Got to stick to the plan, may try the 1/3 or 2/5 at the wynn after downtown, trying to do the tourist stuff with my friends before they leave town

No major interesting hands, raise AA and get 2 streets v a combo draw. Then KJss v AK flop J and runner runner flush.

One big pot i lose with AQ 3bet 30. 1 caller. Flop q q 6 bet he check calls 35. Turn 10 he check calls 50, river 2 he bets 40 i just call and he had 1010 for turnt house. WP end session $113.

A fun hand i see, guy rivers the nut flush and just flat calls the river bet with loads behind. No one says anything, just wow nice hand. I LOLd.

Also, the amount of min raising pre and donk leading flops like $5 and $10 into $50+ pots is crazy, is his comman in most rooms? Or is this table just clueless donkeys

In short, not an amazing room, their promos and rake are crap, $4 + $2 for a pay to play promo but you can only collect it on a sunday + $2 comps it attracts mainly local nitts but still money to be made. Cant fault the dealers tho, and all real friendly.

Great food at momofuku

Our server was great, she told us a few items to have and went for a bit of a variety of things. Would give it 8.5/10 for quality and taste.



My favourite was the shell crab roll, and im not a fan of fish in general but these were amazing. For 3 we slightly over ordered, if going again i would give the pork rahmen a miss and order more rolls.

Would recommend booking in advance to get a good seat with a view vs us outside the main resturant.

Now, bed time and will be up approx 9.30am to rinse and repeat

Bad new not a huge loss but they closed Mermaids.

Just a small nitpick, the Dreamliner (787) is a two-engined plane. Both the planes in your picture appear to be 747-400s. Glad you enjoyed your flight though!

I didnt look too much into it, only that the plane has much better than the one i took to vegas a few years back.

So last nite after visiting the cosmo, we check out planet hollywood and i end up hitting aria for some 2/5 nl, took a look at the $25k HR down to the final 9, looked like a stacked FT inc Fedor.


Anyway, to the pokers...in for $1000


I played super laggy, got 3 2nd best hands early on and was down a heap

Then double up with A3dd, then get it in with q9hh on A Q 9 v AK and hold.

Then im up to 1600, find 1010 and open to 30 and get 3 callers. Flop 10 9 5hh

Sb leads 75, we make it 250 he calls. Turn Qd (2 flush draws) he leads 225 (hes just lost a huge pot vs a turnt gutshot) i push all in, and he calls, river K and he shows J8cc. We lose a $2.2k pot :-(

We get out last few bucks in with 2nd pair vs a shove happy guy and his top pair holds.

Todays plans, join my friend for the wynn daily $140 at noon, and if we bust that its the $200 bounty at the V

Ps, may need to do lots of this today!

Hands of not...J8hh on Q 10 9 cc and get it all in on turn vs 2 players both with flush draws...then A9 raise my button straddle... flop A A 10 i get check raised by crazy guy. I call. Turn 3 he checks i bet 180 he call...river 5 he checks i bet 370 he calls with K10. ;-)

After our nice win at the wynn, my friend leaves to entertain the wife and im left deciding where i should go, i stroll towards my room and remember the Venetian has the $200 bounty event. As i enter the palazzo i see the sign for grand lux, and grab a quick bite to hopefully see me through the night...

Parma breaded pork chop 7.5/10


All fueled up we late reg the $200 bounty at approx 8.30, it has 115 runners so won't be a mega long night if we run deep.


As i thought, late regging this wasnt a great idea, as im seated in a table with loads of chips, so it will be hard to get a KO. I manage to win a decent pot with AQ on Q high flop, but thats it, somehow manage to KO a guy with 9bb v my 10bb with A7dd and we bust a short while later with K10 v A5 when i shove 13bb from button. GG

Still early, i go on all lists at the V, and get seated in a 2/5 PLO, 6 handed. Buy in for $800, and quickly win a few pots and book a $500 win before getting a message from my buddy saying hes ready to play!


We both really enjoyed the wynn, so i head back, as im halfway there he tells me hes tired and is going to crash, but not me, i get straight in a 1/3. Great action, i make two pair with 75o and flop a house and turn quads with J4 in the bb to win $550 in a couple hours. Its just gone midnight so i want to get some sleep and wake at a normalish time, so i head back

As im walking through the wynn i see a fun looking dice table with loads of hot girls, rude not to have a go. I catch a great roll straight away, where a guy hammers the hard 6 and 8 and makes all the numbers bar 11 (we are on the features) then the 2nd roller does the same but misses the 3, and my roll i hit everything bar the 3 and 12. So close for a 150/1 payout 3 times in a row, 4th shooter 7s out straight away and our $200 is out for $1340 within 45mins.

So a great profitable day, ends well with getting a solid 6 hours sleep ready to go at it again. Likely going to head peppermill, then a few hours by the pool, then a few hours cash at wynn, and then evening we are heading downtown.

An eventful day

Hit the peppermill, absolutely spot on as always

Well feed, we hit the pool for the day, its booming.

Dj was decent, and a big fight broke out over an inflatable beer pong table.

After the pool, i get changed ready to go downtown for dinner and to show the ladies how to shoot dice and low stakes blackjack, but not before a quick visit to the dice table waiting for them to get ready. So $300 and 3 hard 6s and 3 hard 10s later....


Nice win, and my friends find me, i call it night and as im colouring up the next guy 7s out instantly.

So, uber down to downtown, its booming!!!!!! Some big show going and so many people on the strip and casinos

We waste $100 on 3 card poker getting drinks, then i do a few hundo at the D on dice.

End up in Andiamo Italian steakhouse, wow, amazing. No pics but worth the money, had the big shrimp and 10oz filet and loads of sides.

So, once we finish we hit the $5 blackjack at fremont, play for 2 hours winning $50 at $5 bets with the girls.

We get back to TI at 1.30am, and my mate wants to play poker before we leaving for L.A in the morning....

I run my 400 up to 1100+ in 45mins vs a guy called Joe, whos a well known maniac here, game is mega action


Some guy comes in on a hover board thing, sits down, goes skint 1st hand to me, and then rides out and gets more money

Where do you think you'll play in LA? It would be cool to meet up. I usually play at Commerce and Hawaiian Gardens. I'm usually at the 5/5/10 PLO or 5/10NL @ Commerce or 5/10 @ HG.

PLO is insanely soft in LA

Im staying 5min drive from the commerce, so will likely play saturday and sunday there. Then with friends for bank holiday at a bbq, and then will check out the bike on the tuesday before flying back wednesday.
