Really good TR, especially since a lot of people give up once they start losing. Kudos for seeing it through. Hope you run better on your next trip out there.

+1 on not playing deep 5/10 in Vegas. IMO, there's so much great deep 2/5 action and the step up in player quality to most 5/10s is significant that there's no good reason to play 5/10 in Vegas unless there's a mega whale playing

GREAT trip report, has me ready to leave now for my trip in 3 weeks. Bump for anyone that missed it earlier.

Just a quick update

My biggest concern prior to the trip was me over indulging in all the good unhealthy foods, im happy to report that 2 weeks after i returned i weighed in and was exactly the same, and only gained a tiny bit of size on my gut.

So the lack of training and unhealthy eating didn't cause too much of a proble, i think all the walking helped.

The week after i returned i played a £550 event in London, made day 3 with good chips and busted in a bit of a fustrating hand (K10hh v AK on Jh 10x 5h Qc 9c) 4 hours into the day in 20th for £1800 (£60k up top)

I was ready to call on the rail from here if i made the FT as it was live streamed, and if i finished top 3 i would have been flying back to vegas for the main, but it wasnt too be.

Also, these have been slowly selling and the funds are being put aside for my flight for next year...



Im off this week for a hospital appointment and then to play the biggest field event outside of Las Vegas in the Grovesner Goliath, £120 entry and 6 starting days...after the 2nd day (today) it already has met the £250,000 guarentee and is set to be over £600,000 prizepool. So there may be a trip report as im away for 5 days trying to make a day 2 and side events. I have missed writing up my day to day action, so might give it a go and i will link to it on here.

Good luck in Coventry I am firing day 1 on Thursday and Friday (if needed).
