oh prolly that was me. been playing a lot at aria and bellagio these days. How are you doin? If u see me just text me or something, i could always use a break
If i am having a good session u will get a free dinner, he he
Update: this whole weekend I just played at bellagio. Been seein some big pros like Joseph cheong etc at that room. Maybe I should start to get used to it rather than be exited everytime I see some big time pro. :P
Sat: I sat at this table where 2 Indian guys were playin. No offense, but I donno why every random indian i play at cash games are SO bad. I mean i have played with few that are extremely good too. Like back in florida in tournament circuits, mukhul pahuja ...that guy was a beast though. I heard he finished top 10 in that 10mil GT tourney recently. Good job
I might now categorize any random indian player i play at 1-3 cash as bad passive fish unless i see them do something. Like i used to categorize younger to mid age asians as extreme gamblers who like to see every flop. J5 off is in their range lol. Anyway one of this guy was really bad. Maybe he saw too much TV poker or something, he was wearing a rayban and was tanking every street! OMG he almost kept me on tilt. he tank calls 100$ on turn with like with 40$ behind and then tanks/stares? forever to call that 40$ on the river. wtf! are you really that ******ed bro? I lost track of how many times he reloded. every1 was frustrated at the table as he was slowing the game, but he was the ATM so we gave lot of time before we started calling clocks. Which btw i didnt know we could do in cash games
I always thought it was in tourneys.
Also it seems like bellagio dealers are not aware of NOT checking/calling the nuts when last to act on river. I asked 2 dealer who claimed they were working over 5 yrs there and one of them was so shocked abt that rule and even went on to say that their tournament have no such rule. One of them is was so adamant about it and said no tournament he dealt have that rule! WTF. I think i am loosing respect a little bit for bellagio dealers(jus kiddin). Donno if this guy thought i was some random foreigner or something but its twice now(or he was having a rough day). I even offered to show a WSOP hand where Moon got penalized for checking nuts at river in pos in Main event. But he didnt want to check on it. whatever, i guess ignorance is a bliss for him or something. Next dealer didnt knew about that/ or was trying to cover this dealer? But this guy wanted to see if such thing as penalizing ever happened in a tourney and so I showed that hand in youtube and he asked why they have such rule and so I explained. Except for 1 older asian lady at my table no one at my table knew about that rule. No wonder i should play more often at Bellagio. It was fun saturday. I was up like 300$ even after having a slow start.
Sunday: i was down early. There was this really aggro Aussie lady who is a 2-5 player. She raises 12$ mid. I make it 35 at button with K
Q
. she calls. (we have 380$ effective)
Flop A
10
5
she check called 50$ turn was 7
she leads 80$ I decided to go all in (as she might fold on river if another spade show up) She snap calls with 77s. River is a 5
and she scoops the massive pot.
Slowly i lost like 200$ uneventfully with big hands not connecting. Lost one hand with a shortstack when my KK < K10. I think i was stuck 2 buyins at this point when i got into an interesting hand with the same Aussie lady.
She raised 12$ mid pos 2 guys called i called at button with K
4
Flop: K
9
8
She CHECKS. two guys check. i lead 35$ into 50$ pot. now she check raises 90$ I think effective was 300$ rest folded and i decided to call as this is extremely dry board and last big hand her betting pattern indicated she wasnt scared of draw boards.. she check called 2 spaded Ace high flop with pocket 77. It made no sense that she is now all of a sudden scared of straight draw or something..unless she had one. It was a sick play if she was leveling. Turn was 5
which gave me a backdoor. She shoved and I took few secs before I call. I think i would have called off even without that backdoor with my note on how she played that big hand earlier. River bricks.
She quickly says "your king is good" even before i showed my hand. Table was somehow shocked to see my call with K4. huh? She was mad at me now :P
"How could u call me with K4 on the flop...what did u keep me on!! ?" I just smiled, pretend to be in my fishy world and said... "I like to get lucky and i was on tilt too "
" you are so lucky u made a flush draw on turn!"
Felt like that kid in rounders when he somehow was so happy for bluffing chan :P BTW I hated that scene in that movie even though i love that movie as a whole.
I ended up cashing like 800$ by end of that exhaustive day. I am just happy I crawled little bit back out of that big loosing session before i called it a day. I was down 400$ for the whole day. Could have been bad if that K4 hand didnt help or if i was over-thinking in that hand and she had like 99s and said "Suprise! MFer!"
I didnt care about the overall losing session.. and felt good goin back to my room. Bought LOT of food with my now seemingly endless amount of comps. Watched NY loose in that football game. I am a big time noob in american football but that last few mins was really interesting/exciting for me although I didnt know which team i should root for. Should be paying more attention to american football from now on
Is it like u pick a fav team on where u are from/stayin? or u just pick a team coz its good? I have seen like Jason mercier wear lot of Dophin jersey even though i heard that team suck big time :P
So help me pick one favorite team so that I can buy some jersey, memorize players in that team and act like I know this ****
See ya all
(Hope this thread is not that boring as u expected
)
