Why do you think the games in Vegas are softer than Cherokee? This is such a common misconception, that games are super touristy and soft in Vegas. If you're planning on grinding a living and not just playing during peak vacation times/weekends, you're going to be playing with like 4-7 nitty semipros most of the time, and before you tell me it's the same in Cherokee, the regs in Cherokee are not as good as the regs in Vegas.
I've played poker all over the world for the last eight years including four years in Vegas and the last six months at cherokee, and cherokee is definitely in the top 3 softest places I've played regularly. I think the players are considerably weaker than in Vegas.
The obvious benefit to Vegas though is that you can move up in stakes and potentially make serious money if you put work into your game. If OP can move up to 5/10 in like a year or two (many people take this path, many fail too though), he's gonna be making 3-4 times what he could make at Cherokee. Anyway, gl OP, don't mean to be a downer but just trying to give you realistic expectations that you're not gonna be printing money in Vegas games.
