dtan05 backed out of a trade after two months of me holding a monitor for him. Although holding it was my decision, I was told by him that it was a for sure deal (twice), but he couldn't make the purchase until he moved. If you own a 30" monitor, then you know why this seems reasonable. Anyway, he told me he got it from a more reputable source, but if he wasn't comfortable trading with me he should have just come out and said it instead of jerking me around. Please "trade" with dtan05 if you'd like people to backout and then ignore your pms. You'll know he's backed out when he starts a new thread looking for the same item without mentioning it to you.

I sold my 20.1" samsung to gettym

He sent me a money order that covered the $225 for the monitor plus $20 for shipping. when i went to the fedex place they informed me it was going to be another $25 for packaging instead of the $5 they told me on the phone.

well, i just sent it out to him and the next day he sent me $25 on stars w/o my prompting.

he just got the monitor today and as far as i know everything went perfectly.

A++. I'd deal with gettym anyday. Def. recommended!

I'm having a ton of problems with the monitor I bought from Michael Clayton, I PM'd him a few days ago regarding the problem and haven't heard back from him.

I am in no way calling him a scammer at this point, just kinda bummed with the product i received(whether or not he sold it to me knowing it had problems I have no idea.)


Hopefully I hear back from him soon but until then or until it's been too long for me to keep waiting(probably one more week) I'll give him the benefit of the doubt!

If you look at his posts in marketplace now you'll just see that he's trolling around, and leading people on.

Suspend/ip ban him plz. I also PMed mike haven about this.

i never had a single problem at all with that monitor so i can't figure out what could be going wrong with it. so yeah, p.m. me.
