while i agree 2 months is too long, i can see it from a specific backers perspective. They want to give the person the opportunity to pay back, and to not ruin their rep before hand.

When someone scams me, i usually give them a few weeks to make good as long as they are in contact. After that I just post in this thread.

oh, did i mention that ghetto_clown on 2p2 is a scammer and has many names and is still supposedly playing games? He also hasnt repaid me my money back, and has acknowledged through PM's that he outright scammed me.

going to remind people that they can always also let us (mods) know of things that are happening as they happen also even if they are unsure they want to out the person at the time. this allows us to keep an eye on things in the meantime or even spend a few minutes looking things up that may help.
we won't take action against the person specifically for the issue until such time as you feel comfortable with it.

The other thing is that we often can't take action once it comes out in here because 1) we don't see it in a timely manner and 2) it's difficult to keep trying to follow up to get the evidence that will allow us to take action if it's not important enough to the person to contact us.

Was staking him for a few months then he ran off with the roll and a bunch of profits he owed me. Stopped coming on aim trying to avoid me and I spoke to someone who knows him and said he is on yahoo messenger. Spoke to him on Yahoo he told me some bs about he logged onto his account and he got robbed for some money and he sent the rest to xxjd32xx and gambled with it to try get even.
Prolly just cashed out the money or w/e.

But yeah I noticed he just started posting for stakes dont stake him imo, should prolly be banned also.

Applied and recieved a stake for 9 man stt's(570 in total, 938 balance at time of incident) using the account Ace/Caliburn which is registered to his fathers name. I find out he's using 2 accounts when he asks to move the stake over to his other account because it is a goldstar and he wants to earn more FPP's (12 days ago).

Says he opened the account in his fathers name when he was 17, but he's 23 now and still using both. Claims to not have supplied the other SN because it was never used for sit and go's, when I got the other name via PM I found it had @880 games played at 1% roi, as opposed to 9% over 2k 9 mans on the account he applied with.

Obv. I try to pull the stake, he refuses over the course of a few long skype chats in which he claims it's unfair, unreasonable, he had plans for the profits and since he's broke he can't allow me to get the cash back but will repay if his account gets locked.

Keeps refusing to send and putting me off, says he's verified both accounts in the mean time and has asked a "cardrunners pro" for his opinion, if he says he should send the money back he will. That was 5 days ago.

Immediately after our initial arguement he blocked both accounts on scope,though he has never given me the second screename, sold T$ from ace/caliburn and is obv playing on Alterran.

Should have caught this in his posting history, he sold T$ off the second account in the MTTC trading thread. Facepalmed when I saw it as I thought I'd been thorough.

Anyways, he's still playing 16's and might still believe he's in the right. He deceived myself and partner to get the stake and refuses to return the funds so as far as I'm concerned it's thieving. I warned him I'd be outing him today, he asked for the weekend but still won't send.

Add to that I can't think of a single honest reason someone needs to use two accounts.

I've been in touch with Bren on this and I'm convinced he's told the story as it happened at this point.

I believe Caliburn is withholding the funds without justifiable cause. Undisclosed multiple accounts that become not only revealed- but played on and eventually hidden from tracking is clear breach of any agreement they could have had.

Return the funds, including Bren's share of the profit at the time you went off the stake.
That would be amount at the time he told you to ship back while he reconsidered in case you are a little slow on the uptake.

I never intended to hide anything from you, and its true i didnt use the other account for sngs of the format i wanted stake in.
I created my own account when i moved away from home into my own appartment, and by that time i was just playing some 6 max games for fun sometime, and some casgame. I didnt see it important to mention the results since it was not the format or the buy in level i was interested in playing.

And like i told you, i started playing poker when i was underage, i asked my father to help me out and make an account, and he did. I played on it for years and just recently had to make my own account since i dont live at home anymore and have to use my own credit card. And i dont "use" two accounts, the only reason i jumped back to my dads was that i had all my SNG results on it, and i ofc had to apply for stake using the only results i had from 9 handed sngs, like i said i played on that account.

And yes i blocked my account on scope, but i have been available on skype several hours every day, so if u found that a problem you could have told me and i would have unblocked it, i didnt do it for you, i did it since i didnt want someone i play with to scope me.

You make it sound like you did some grand investigation here, and then answerd me back a while later, but all that happend was, i told you i needed the stake to make some money to buy xmas presents, few days into the deal i told you i play on dads acc and wonderd if i should move to my own acc cuz of the goldstar, you ask how much money i got atm, i answer u 900 something, you tell me to send the money to you. And no, im not broke, im just short on money for xmas presents. Big diffrence here. I could sell my car, tv, computer, withdraw from my savings account or anything if i had to get quick cash, but obv i dont sell my car just to buy xmas gifts.

And well im short on time atm but ill just say one more thing, i did not "lie to get staked", i applied using my 9 handed STT result and if u had asked for my SN's i would obv supply them, i just wrote down what i considerd to be relevant for the 9 STT's i wanted stake in.
