A bit bigger than you can do here. Anyways don't they just give you the money if you win a seat?

1. It's reasonable, but the other party could still say no, especially if they're the more established member. Someone with a Apr 09 reg date and four posts asked me to ship 1st for a PS2 I was selling... true story

2. Yes, and this can work for or against you. You may not get full buyer protection, and people have reversed transactions before.

3. There's no "list" of people available to escrow, no. If neither party knows a reputable person here then it's unlikely you will get an escrow (but not impossible).

4. I suppose they could, but it doesn't hurt to make it worth their while even if they don't.

Is there an official ruling on selling domain names? I didn't think they were allowed but have noticed a few for sale recently.

I have a couple that I'm too lazy/uncreative to do anything with that someone else might be able to use.

Thought it was a good time to bump this thread just in case there's questions about all the changes we're making.

You asked for some of them... we're trying to expand the forums, simplify a couple processes, neaten things up, and contain some eyesores (like the million WTB threads). Also trying to make things a little smoother/safer for backers in the stake forum

Meanwhile, the Marketplace Europe Forum (which a bunch of posters requested) remains totally empty.

Can anyone tell me what service is used when you purchase something through the FTP store?

I recently bought something through this marketplace from a poster and I got a forward of an email from him that was from FTP saying it was shipped about 2 weeks ago. He told me it was shipped through UPS but didnt have the shipping info. He said FTP told him that that email sometimes gets caught in the spam. Havent heard anything from him.

Can anyone confirm that this is the process?

Depends on the weight of what you buy. Most items over a couple lbs. are shipped UPS and light items are usually sent USPS.

I have sold lots of items from the FTP store to other 2+2ers and I only get tracking numbers # about 30% of the time from FTP. I have to send an email to FTP with the transaction number to request a tracking number for the item being shipped. Since he forwarded you the item transaction number, send email a full tilt and ask the status of the shipment. If they say that the transaction number does not exist, you probably got scammed. If anything else, its just standard FTP slowness lol.

Thanks for the replies guys. I emailed the full tilt store and asked them if it was a valid order.

For the record, im not accusing the seller of anything. Just havent gotten a reply from him after a few tries so I was just wondering if that was the right process.

I want to buy some FTP points, what is the process of doing this? Do they actually get shipped to my account or does the other person buy the item?

So I might wanna buy 85k points for a Samsung T240. However in the USA store it seems to be 81k points. Since I am buying from an USA guy I am wondering if it's possible for you USA guys to order something out the EU store? I live in The Netherlands and I think it's not allowed to order it in the USA store for 4k points cheaper and than enter the shipping adress from outside the USA.

Hope you understand where I am going.
