Re: Marketplace Questions, Random Stuff - NOT FOR BUYING/SELLING
It loosely falls under "illegal items", but it's a little vague wrt weapons, we couldn't think of every possibility when writing it. And without making a science out of it, folding utility or swiss army knives wouldn't be much an issue so maybe anote on weapons will get added.
For whatever reason a ton of states and countries outlaw butterfly knives, so it is what it is for us. I haven't even seen one in 20 years. A little before that it seemed like every other dude had one.

Re: Marketplace Questions, Random Stuff - NOT FOR BUYING/SELLING
Can I link to a different website with the details about the item I'm selling? Specifically, a forum thats sole purpose is to privately sell items of that nature?

No, these forums are for 2+2ers who are looking to sell items to one another, not advertise their listing on other sites, sorry.

Re: Marketplace Questions, Random Stuff - NOT FOR BUYING/SELLING
Yea that's fine.
Just beware that it can sometimes be a hassle to keep track of those items which are sold and those that are not. Expect to receive many PMs from posters inquiring about already sold items.

In the thread that you need a sale escrowed in. Depends. Some do it for free ; some don't.
A lot of people don't want to do it because they don't want to be connected to fraudulent funds should the buyer and/or sell not be completely "upstanding"

Yes but I'd recommend checking out the Las Vegas Lifestyle forum first, you'd probably get what you're looking for a lot faster.
