This is a moot question now as your Marketplace Approval request has been denied.

Does your backer know about your tangled web of poker room accounts and the banned accounts you have at PTP?

No you don't need PMs activated to reply to that post but you will need to include your pokersite screennames.

Re: Marketplace Questions, Random Stuff - NOT FOR BUYING/SELLING

So I just got a few coupons from a timeshare(50% off on various 1- 5 night stays across the country) and a few complimentary nights at a Hotel of my choice. Are these allowed to be sold in the marketplace?

As long as they're transferable, you're welcome to try.

Not sure why you'd ask this here, but it sounds like an extremely stupid thing to do. You're asking if you should steal? No, you shouldn't. Nice to see that your friend's theft warrants a smiley face from you.

None that I know of. I certainly won't.

I always considered escrowing but reversals and fraudulent funds are scary. I would probably have stars confirm all the names and deposits prior to agreeing lol

Re: Marketplace Questions, Random Stuff - NOT FOR BUYING/SELLING

Lamborghini Freeroll Weekly (or Final) tickets at PokerStars

I might soon find myself with several extra "Lamborghini Freeroll Weekly Tickets" since I'm currently registered in all of the 8 remaining Weekly events, and have also already qualified to the "Final" event. (/endbrag)

I might want to "sell" additional tickets that I earn, and I am wondering if this is allowed here.

I also am wondering if it is better to sell the ticket outright for one fixed price, or whether I might want to "stake" someone as a one-time entry to a tournament. Or should I attempt a combination of both?

Which forum would be best to "sell" these tickets in?
Staking? or MarketPlace?

Thanks!
Tommy

Tommy I'm thinking this forum is right for that sort of thing, but I don't know a whole lot about MTT tickets so PM a mod there directly to ask. If it's not right there we'll find somewhere here for you

Thank you for pointing me to the mtt-community forum. I did PM a couple of moderators there and they said it was permissible to post in the W$/T$ thread. I think it is best to post an ad in the MarketPlace forum and then post a link in the W$/T$ thread to my MarketPlace ad.

After looking at the MarketPlace threads, it almost seems that selling a ticket to a tournament is out of place there compared to the other items being sold. Are there other forums or theads that might be appropriate or worthwhile to post a link to my ad?

Thanks!
Tommy

Posting links to it in other forums would be a little spammy tbh. If they are ok with it there - then keep it there.

I contacted 2 Mods for that forum, and one suggested that if I had a MarketPlace ad that I should post links in that forums T$/W$ thread and also in the "monthly [Censored]" thread. The other mod suggested posting in those 2 threads as well.

Selling tickets to tournaments doesn't fall neatly into the existing forums. They certainly aren't T$ or W$, but yet people selling/trading those might be interested in buying a tournament ticket.

Likewise there is a "gift card / Poker Site Points" forum, but tickets to tournaments aren't exactly the same thing, yet others in that forum might be interested in tournament tickets too.

Instead, the MarketPlace forum is the only one left, and I get to place an ad for tournament tickets next to ads for the following: Automobile Tires, Computer Mice, Clothing, GIFs.

Hopefully you can understand why it is that I want to post this ad (or links to it) in other forums without it appearing to be spamming.

Anyway, I'm doing a little experiment of my own right now by just having the ad in the MarketPlace. After 24 hours I will place links in the aforementioned threads. So far I have gotten an interest in my "Final" ticket, but have not had any interest in my other "Weekly" tickets yet.
