I have a thread where in the title I list multiple items. Half those items are sold. Should I make a new thread or ask the MOD to change the title?

If you PM me I'll change the title for you.

You could also post an updated list of what is available.

Selling an actual product I think its a little less likely since you have proof the product is delivered - but iirc paypal does offer some sort of chargeback solution.

not really.... buyer can say the item delievered was broken, not as advertised, just an empty box etc.

paypal really gives 99.9 percent of the benefit of the doubt to the buyer when theres a dispute. And even if you, as a seller, were to eventually come out on top, youre talking about weeks or potentially months of hoop jumping before you see the money.

So I need cash. I've been waiting on a check from Poker Stars for over a month. They told me it was "lost in the mail." I said that's great, if only my landlord would buy the "lost in the mail" excuse. I'm wondering if there's any way I could ask to see if someone who lives near me would take a small offering to help me out with an exchange where I give Poker Stars funds for cash.

FWIW I live in Wisconsin and only need a couple hundred dollars.

Yep - requests like that are made all the time in the P2P transfer thread in the zoo

Just make sure you read the entire OP before posting.

If I was to ask someone what the current bid on a product was, what would be an appropriate bid over that bid?

Ex. The bid is $100. Do I offer $101? $120? $200?

I don't think there are any minimum guidelines for something like this.

Is there a place to get an escrow for a transaction, I am trying to sell a few things and would like an escrow to make both of us feel a little more secure. thanks

Is there a mod that helps with that specifically? Or do you just start a thread for needing an escrow.

Not really, no. People talk a lot about escrows here, but I don't know that they anyone gets one that often. The problem is, an escrow is often taking on a lot of risk for little or no reward.

What are the risks involved in being an escrow? I can think of some but I'm interested in others that I am not considering
