I don't even know if I like the phrase "study group" because it sounds a tad gay but I'm interested in starting some kind of study / mastermind group with other "winning" micro MTT player preferably on stars. Mainly to share hands, observe each other play through twitch or some other media form. Offer feedback and help find each other's leaks......essentially we would all end up in next years WSOP main event and then on to have a massive blow out around Vegas!

Biggest issue is that in 99,999% of cases it's going to be a waste of time.
Not to discourage, i just know other models work better.

Unless there are clear roles and leadership in that group, u'll waste time chatting on skype and gain nothing.
Still, many people enjoy chatting on skype nevertheless, so whatever, but don't do it bc u will improve ur game dramatically that way.

i respect u a lot Gordon but this argument couldn't be further from the truth...

Best way to improve in poker nowadays is knowing what other players would do in certain situation, poker is not anymore about reading 1 book or watching a video. Poker has evolved like hell and keeps evolving, so the unique way to beat other players is by anticipating what he thinks...

tho, I'm runnin a small group ! 4 players atm, from different countries and networks... almost all of us micro players but very disciplined.... We discuss daily hands, brags, beats and poker in general!

Main games are mttsng and mtts !
