Hey guys, I host a weekly group study session for SNG players that typically play from the micro through mid stake games ($1-$30). All SNG players are welcome to join. Players already signed up for this session range from 6 max players through the 180 mans, so no matter what games you play, these study sessions will apply.

I am an SNG coach, and every Wednesday I schedule a group session with my players and anyone else that is interested in joining. I think the more players the better, as analyzing hands together and getting different points of view helps everyone improve their game.

The next study session is on Wednesday, May 4th at 12:00 pm EST (GMT-5). Each week, we pick a specific topic that we want to review. For the upcoming session, we are analyzing late game play, and inparticular, push/fold strategies. We will be covering such strategies and concepts as ICM, the bubble factor, push/fold/calling ranges, accurately putting our opponent's on hand ranges, keeping the bubble alive, being the bubble bully, and much more.

If you are interested in joining, just PM me with your email and Skype info and I will be sure to add you. Also, I am having my players submit specific hands that they would like analyzed. The same goes for you. If you have questions on some hands you played, send them to me before Monday, May 1st so that I can put everything together for Wednesday.

See you there.

Clint

Hey, I just wanted to update everyone on the group session (see above post) for Wednesday, May 4th. It will be at 12:00pm (GMT-5). Again we will be covering end game/bubble scenarios and concepts such as ICM, push/fold/calling ranges, etc...

Some of you have already done so, but if you are interested in this session, please PM me to confirm your attendance.
If you have hand histories or questions that you would like reviewed, please contact me through PM or Skype ASAP so that I can get everything put together.

What you will need for the session:
Skype: For those that will be involved in the session, I will be communicating through Skype using a group chat and group call. If you do not have a microphone (internal or external), that is not a problem. You can watch, listen, and if you do have a question, you can just use the IM feature.
Mikogo: I typically use Team Viewer, but recently I have been having some troubles connecting with some of my players using Team Viewer for whatever reason. So to make things easy, everyone make sure that they have Mikogo. Just like Team Viewer, it is a free program that will allow you to view my screen.
An understanding of ICM analysis: During the session, we will be talking alot about ICM and how it applies to the end game of SnGs. I do not want to spend a ton of time going through what ICM is, as we could spend an hour just talking about that topic alone. Please PM me if you would like more info on ICM prior to the session so that the strategies that are discussed make sense. I can send you a really good article that explains ICM clearly and that you can always have for your reference.
If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to respond in thread, PM me or send me an IM on Skype. Also, please try to be ready for the session 5-10 minutes ahead of time so that I can get everyone added to the call and we can solve any technical issues prior to 12pm.

See you on Wednesday,

Clint

on a side note i live in thailand so if your from the US etc. and only online a little bit same time everyday it might be a bit hard. (but still doable of course)

if youre serious about improving and want to invest a lot of time in studying it doesnt matter if you have never played 400nl.

I am also looking for a decent study group for 6max NHLE. Anything from 50NL to 400NL is acceptable since I tend to play all of those limits (although I'd prefer not to focus much on 50NL heh.... 100NL to 200NL is fine). HU material would be great as well. Anyone who wants another mind please feel free to send a PM.

SNG study partner wanted

Hi

I play $5-$10 SNGs and am interested in 'buddying' with someone who is playing similar stakes (I do 6max but fine if you do 9mans+).
I am currently being coached but this would be to compliment that.Ideally you are a break-even or mildly profiting player (I say this as if you're very/consistently profiting it's probably not fair on you!)
Things I would like to do - mutual gain from motivating each other, going over HHs, sweating, moaning about bad beats and friendly competition.
Contact would be via Skype and email.
I am from the UK so ideally you'd be from there due to time zones but if not no worries.
Look forward to hearing from you

Shoot me an email if you're interested - sitngomad@gmail.com
Thanks

Hey guys, as indicated in the quoted post, I host a weekly SnG study session. Today, we completed a group session on bubble and ICM analysis. I am having another session next Wednesday, May 11th at 12:00pm (EST or GMT -5).

The plan right now is to discuss post flop play in the early and mid game stages of SnGs. While the majority of profits come from proper bubble play, it is also important that you are not leaking chips in the early going and also getting maximum value for your made hands. We will be discussing board texture, pot control, proper bet sizing, steals/re-steals, c-bets, and other post flop play strategies.

If you are interested in being a part of the study session, just PM me or send a contact request on Skype.

Hey guys, so I have been posting in this thread about a SNG group session that I host every Wednesday. Over the past 2 weeks, I covered ICM/bubble strategy and post flop play. I will be having another session next Wednesday, May 18th at 12pm EST. These sessions have been filling up pretty quickly. This past Wednesday we had 17 people which was great for hand history review.

The consensus from the group about the next session topic is to review full SNG games in the replayer. So we will be analyzing every part of the SNG, from the early game, to the bubble, and ITM play. I will try to get through several full games ranging from 9 mans through the 45 man SNGs.

All are welcome to participate. If you are interested in joining in the group session next Wednesday, please PM me, and/or send me a Skype request.

Hi everybody

I play PLO100 6max and have been playing up to PLO400 already. As I mark around 10 hands every day I play I would like to have someone to go over at least a few of them like every other day. Obv doing the same for other people. Just PM me here but you have to be a winner at PLO100+ I dont want to talk PLO with people who are just switching as it would be me coaching them and not having a discussion for myself.

plz PM if you are interested in!

Hi guys,

I'm an MTT player with decent results so far both online and live. I currently play for a living and am averaging 4k profit per month so far this year. But that is of course not enough.

I am looking to join forces with two to four serious MTT players with good results (meaning sharkscope ability rating at 80+ on your sites), looking to take the step to the next level. I live in Europe, so working with fellow European players would be most convenient.
My plan is to work in a structured manner on improvement, using HH reviews, live sweats and charting each others' weaknesses and strengths and creating playing exercises etc to work on these.

I play as Veigald on Stars, Stianini on Tilt, plus a few different screen names at a bunch of Euro sites (yeah, I used up my regular ones before I learnt about rakeback...)

This is not for the lazy, it's for the ambitious. That said, PM me if interested and we'll hook up on Skype!

Thanks,
V

Hello there,

I'm looking for a 45-man SnG study group. I've been playing cash games for more than an year but after being BE at NL25 I decided to try a new format to avoid burning out and so far I'm enjoying these games. I'm european and currently playing on Stars and I'm willing to find an already established MTT-SnG group to discuss general strategies.

Please, send me a PM to share Skype contacts.

Thanks in advance.
