Re: *Official "I want to start/be in a study group" Thread*

Hey all

at the moment on skype pretty much all day. I have recently lost my job and slim chances of getting one where I live. So between restudying I am playing alot of poker.

anyone who wants to add me on skype please do cardsharp662

I currently play .1/.2 6max LHE with a WR of 3.7/100 over a decent sample size.
I also play 45/90man SNGS $0.25 -but I am terrible at theses and just learning at the moment.

Live poker

I'm 21 and play 2/5 at Foxwoods. I have played over 1k hours of live poker and started at 1/2 with a handful of buyins and am now approaching 5/10.

I want skype discussion or people to meet up with and talk poker. I don't really care about anyone's win rates or whatever because I think any discussion furthers your developments as a player.

I have a thread in PG&C that pretty much explains my whole situation from online micro to 2/5 live.

Recently came back to poker and now I am looking for a STT/MTTSNG study grp. Currently playing 9 man normal and KO at 1.5 $ and 3.5 $ level but also 45 and 18 mans. Running at 16 % ROI over 1200ish games

Im 23 years old and I have a lot of free time to play and study. 2 years ago I was decently succesful at nl50 and nl100 6max before I chose gf and internship before poker

Thats exactly what i'm looking for as well. maybe we can connect?

Hi all,

Long time lurker here and I've decided to take poker seriously again (PM me if you're curious about the 'again'). I have plenty of free time right now with my current job, so i've been putting in 25+ hours a week of playing and studying poker. I play 10NL and i'm making +1.16 BB/100 at the moment.

I don't need anyone who isn't taking this as seriously as I am. I don't want anyone who needs someone to complain to about variance. I'm looking for someone(s) who will challenge my arguments and assumptions for the sake of debate and learning, not for ego.

I am readily available to talk or chat on skype.

If youre willing to start one I am interested in joining, you seem to have a lot of qualities I am looking for. Or I am willing to start one myself via skype if anyone is interested.

I am a US player and just deposited on merge.

me: history of winning at 25nl-50nl, grinding up from 2nl
-can meet regularly
-previously coached in the past & part of study groups
-versed in different approaches/strategy regarding the game
-fluent english!

looking for:
-open minded people, respectful, mature
-willing to devote time to improve their game and remain committed to the group

To the 3 posters above, i'm interested as well in a study group. I play FR though but am beating 10nl for >5bb/100 in my last 100k hands. I'll be studying the 6 max vids I have and mixing it in soon, but can still bring a lot to the table. Lmk

fwiw I do play around 20/15/5/3 in FR these days. I'm very serious and dedicated to improving and continuing to win at higher stakes.

For anyone else reading this and interested in a study group, i'm looking for other dedicated players playing 10nl-25nl or beating 4nl decent and looking to move up.
