Is my thought process ok here? Is my thought process ok here?

Sorry I don't have the HH but I'll type it up as accurately as I remember it.

Last night I was playing 25NL when this hand occurred. The big blind is an ok player but I have seen him go crazy a couple times with an over pair regardless of action. The other guy is a complate fish. No matter what the action pre he's seeing the flop. He never folds to any cbet.

sb - player ???
Bb - villain $70
Utg - player ???
CO - fish $60
Btn - Hero $60 AQo

Pre flop
Player folds, fish raises 68c, hero raises $2.80
Sb folds, Villain raises $6 fish calls. Hero calls.

Here I I'm pretty sure the Villain never does this just to steal. As we both know the fish is calling. So maybe I should have just folded here? But with position and the fish still in play. Also with the sense that the pot is going to get pretty big I decided to call.

Flop Q22r
Villain checks, fish bets $6, Hero raises $14, Villain calls, fish calls.

If I'm honest I never expected the Villain to call here. His pre Flop action suggested a big hand but with the fish still in I'd have assumed he would have bet the Flop because the fish never folds. So this had me a little confused.

Turn 5
All check.
I should have probable bet here? I'm not too sure. I think I checked because I was so confused about villains holding . It felt like a missed AK, JJ TT. But maybe he was slow playing AA, KK. but I really wasn't convinced of that because of the way I'd seen him play before.

River 6

Villain checks, fish check, hero????

Now I'm thinking I am pretty sure I am ahead here. Surely after me checking the turn if either of the others had anything good they would have bet for value because they'd worry I'd check behind? The fish I can't even begin to guess what he has. But the Villain I try my best to work it out.

The only hand possibilities I think are in his range are pocket pairs from TT+ and a missed AK. He could have 55 or 66 but I don't think he 3bets me from the BB with these. If he has AA or KK I think he bets every street. So I don't think he has that. I put it down to TT JJ or QQ maybe a missed AK but I'm not sure he'd call the flop with AK. Considering I have AQ I find it highly unlikely he has QQ. And surely he would have bet the Flop after I check the turn?

In my head it makes perfect sense he has JJ/TT I shove my remaining stack. Which is about $30 into a $36 pot. Hoping that he still calls with JJ/TT. He calls but shows QQ

Was my line of thought horrible or my play? Anything drastically need's changing in the way I approached the hand? Or is it just unlucky that he turned up with QQ in that spot?

Any feedback will be appreciated
