For quite a while now i have been profitable in online plo8. However, i've decided to take up live plo8 aswell as the prizepools are bigger. Is there not much difference between the live and online game? Or am i in for a big shock

You're in for big boredom, not a big shock. Slow play and only one table at a time. The live players are a bit worse on average than the online players. You'll need a decent roll to survive variance and cover expenses, buy-ins are generally much higher for live.
