I see people all the time stating how they play 15-20 tables at a time.

This is wrong. Do not do this, ever! How are you to know how anyone plays if you can barely select a play option without timing out?

You play 20 tables playing only the cards, not the players at all!!!!

You fold 30 hands in a row and raise huge when you get THE hand, what do you think the table will do? They will either call and its maybe a coin flip, or you win blinds.

The other players will notice that you constantly fold or raise big. You know how easy it is to beat a player like that? You are garbage if this is your style.

How can you read anyones move? How can you have any idea whay any other player might be playing if you never focus on the table?

If all you do is play the cards, you will lose more than you win.

Do not play more than 5 tables at a time.

Take notes on players if a site allows it, takes notes on your own in a word doc. or whatever you want, if the site does or doesn't allow notes.

Pay attention to the people you play with, not the cards you are dealt.

It is perfectly possible to get better at reading players, stats, stacks and situations quickly enough to 12+ table well and not just be playing your cards. It just takes a lot of work and experience. The mistake people make is adding tables too quickly, and of course then their game will stagnate. If you add 1/2 tables every month or two gradually, while studying and tracking how it influences your game, you can find the sweet spot. Sacrificing a little ROI/game can def be fine provided your $/hour continues to rise. There are good profitable regs crushing the high stakes playing up to 20 tables. There are some who stick at 6-8. Capping it at 5 regardless of where your game / multi-tabling ability is at, is definitely a mistaken approach.

Do you raise 8 5 suited out of position trying to catch a trap when you play 12+ tables?

Thats usually how I crack the PP people wait forever for.

I mean whatever works, I just can't do it.

If you could play 15 tables at once in a casino live would you do it? Lets say you could get seated where you are very close to each seat at each table.

fishiest thread i've read in a long time. 2008 join date and you still think like this? it's perfectly reasonable to play more tables than 5. Just ask the 30 tablers making $300-$400k a year (eg: yadadamean21)
