I want to finally really learn and get fundamentally better at poker.
I've played enough and also read enough, but both never consistent and ambitious enough.
So, first I'd like to know if there is any "hierarchy" in poker theory, as well in decisions.
Like, begin with Starting Hand Charts, then decide on which level your opponent thinks, then take ranges into consideration....and so on.
Any suggestions on which content in which sequence would be very nice.
Second, as said, i already read enough, but for example reading on 2+2 some strategy can be interesting, but it is difficult to don't forget most of what you read, filter out the good information(and mb write down eye-opening posts), dont get distracted, don't cross-read between different threads, don't read for too long or too short.
This kinda is also a problem of myself and maybe everyone using a computer, distraction, staying online for too long etc.
So, what kind of learning and memorizing techniques would you recommend?
Especially for the way poker content is presented ?
Podcasts, Books, Forums, Coachings ....
What are the ways to identify the best content and then to make most out of your invested time and memorize most of what you hear and read?
Or would you just play and everytime you don't know what to do/how to get most EV write down the situation and analyze afterwards and so learn different concepts(for spots with different difficulty) crisscross instead of a specific hierarchy?
(Just that you know, I have a huge bookmark folder of unread or semi-read articles that seemed good or interesting)
I know everyone is a different learning type, but w can get into specifics later. This is just to get the discussion started.
Also(obv) I want to become good at problem-solving myself and want to learn how to approach Poker, really understand the game and what I am doing, not how to play by a certain scheme(this only if I understand it and why it makes sense in a certain scenario)
