Become a winner or Quit poker for good. ADVICE PLS

So,I'll start off by giving you a little information about myself. I'm 25 years old, live in the UK and have been playing poker on/off for 8 years with little to no success. Last year I had a good month where I came second in a £220 live MTT for £8,400 which is my biggest win to date, by far. I am looking for some solid advice as I am looking to focus my attention on poker as I absolutely love the game. The reason i've been unable to do so throughout the years were a few personal things and the fact I didn't have a job long enough or well paid enough ( was a student for a while ) to give me the chance to actually focus on poker and take it seriously as I was also a bit of a punter who would bet on anything from horses to table games which obviously isn't great mentally when trying to focus on something. I have since stopped all forms of gambling, even poker. I had previously done this for 7 months I never touched anything gambling related bar poker and it was my most successful period playing poker to date.

Now, I want to start getting lots of hand volume in while also working alongside my job, which is pretty good hours wise to focus on poker. What I have always struggled with was the learning aspect of poker, the studying. I've came to this forum in search of help as of where to start because I've never properly took it seriously before in terms of studying ( I could play for 12 hours straight no problem ) I have poker tracker however it seems to have broke and not sure how to get it back working ( i'm sure someone can help me fix that easily) What i'm really looking for is help on where to start, I love playing heads up but feel i am over aggressive and make too many mistakes to profit here, 6 max I feel I am more competent. I also love spin and go's and have showed a profit at these but again not sure where to go and how to set out a study plan as such where I know i'm taking in all the information. I also haven't had much success and always went broke as I played way over my head limit wise compared to bankroll. I play online 1/2 if i'm going to play, I've never played micros and live i've played upto 2/5/10 very occasionally. I am looking to start off in the micros and play with no fear of losing my money and with a clear head and dedicated study time.

If anyone has any suggestions and advice I would greatly appreciate it as I a fairly smart guy and if I don't turn a profit this time around I will be giving up poker for good.

Thanks guys
