Hey Guys and Girls,

so, few days ago i was really motivated, loaded up 50 bucks, sat down at 10NL, took notes every game, was playing really good, running good aswell.
So i turned those 50 into 150 by today and was really proud. And you know what? I just blew it all. I didn't even play a higher limit. I just played like a total idiot compared to how i played when i made all that profit.
I dont know, feel so sad rn. Sucks. I feel like I am talented and when I play concentrated i quite easily beat 10NL, even tho i recognize that i have in many spots much room for improvement. Anyone else? Fixed it?

What was different when you "played like a total idiot"? Were you tired? Were you uninterested in the game? Drinking? There are plenty of reasons why you should get up from a table if you're not playing your A-game, and these are just a few. The key is recognizing that you aren't playing the best you can, and it sounds like you recognized it. The question is, did you realize you were playing poorly during the session, or after? Either way, its good that you recognized it. Just next time, don't play when you're in that mentality. And if you start a session strong, and start slipping into poor play, stack up and cash out. No shame in leaving when your game isn't top notch.

I turned , on Friday night 50 into 600 dollars on global poker , next day I couldn't come to terms I was on a heater and felt like I should be winning every hand , well there went 600.


I have redeposited and am working my roll back up , my current plan is

Play STRICT BRM , 30 buyins per tier , only time i vary from this is if I am on a heater and have been up a few Buyins - I will take that and deposit it into a higher game if they are very fishy.



also , if you feel annoyed / stressed / kids screaming in the background and you cant focus 1000% , dont play , I have lost alot of big pots in last 2 days because I wasnt paying attention and didnt read the player at all ,

nah he doesnt have it , call the jam and just piss all my money away
