Hi.

Recently joined deuces cracked. I've watched wiltontilt with whiteheatsyd series so far...
HAs any recommendations for ssnl videos??
I'm watching balugawhale at the moment... he and wiltontilt have, to put it mildly, very different styles.

Any advice welcome.
Kante.

Ask at their forums. Their forums are pretty active & most people on there are very helpful.

It's got some good NL content, including cash and MTTs, and even a backgammon instructor. I'm thinking this is definitely an innovative first -- especially with Bill's exceptional background.

One of the best things I like about it is that the coaches not only make videos, but regularly participate in the forums. This is great when you need some situational feedback and don't necessarily want to hire someone for their entire hourly.

I mainly play cash games, and some of the videos and forum posts have really opened up my eyes and increased my alertness in certain spots where I'd otherwise just routinely make the same play w/o thinking twice, especially some of Hunter's vids. Additionally, it's comforting to know that they have adequate PLO and MTT instruction as backup should I ever hit a tumultuous downswing and want to embark upon a different adventure.

So I definitely recommend you guys to check it out and add it onto your educational repertoire.
The above looks suspiciously like spam, but has anyone any experiences with this site ? I can see it's the new home of Leatherass, FWIW ...

Seriously many sites have instructors that REGULARLY participate in their forums. CR, DC, PXF.... nothing innovative there.

What you quoted does look a bit spammy but I've joined the site and it is legit. It seems to have poached a lot of the better coaches from stox that I remember from before the CR merge. I haven't watched everything yet but I am impressed with BeachJustice's classroom vids and the Leatherass debut is very solid. Honorouble mention to hellopuppy who has a good teaching style and a dry sense of humour that I find pretty appealing.

I keep getting Firefox saying "Problem loading page". Internet Explorer doesn't work either. I can get other websites to work though.

I believe the wheels to make a free trial possible are in motion for it to be done as soon as today.

Dragthebar also announced the acquiring of PokerSwat, so that should make the members of both sites happy.

hi guys, im a steady mtt player and have had some nice cashes but the variance can be a killer at times especially with larger than ever fields. Im a member of an good training site and love it for mtts only. However i want to learn cash to fill the gaps in when i dont cash and to hopefully fund some buy ins. However everytime ive tried it ive sucked at it bigtime. So I want to go back to cash basics and join a training site. Ive heard Outstanding Poker could be good but the review sites all seem biased to me.
Any ideas please?
Thanks

DTB getting PokerSwat's library is pretty big for them I would say, especially if they can get some of their coaches to make videos for them.

I do find their pages to be overly 'crowded' with tons of text and not enough space/pictures to give it some air.

I'd much prefer a more 'visual' interface with less stuff pr. page. I'd rather have the mouse over popup for the videos be what was shown directly on the video page for example.

yeah the quality of the video/editing is really top notch. I was kind of surprised that you have the ability to direct download all videos in mp4 format, considering anyone signing up for a free trial could just download all the videos they want to watch and have them on their computer for later.

I'm mainly play online, at the .25 .50 tables, and I want my game to take the next leap.

Has anyone taken this course?
Do you recommend it?
