Re: * Official Training Site Discussion Thread *

anyone had any experience with float the turn? Seems like some decent instructors for sng/mtt stuff. But $100 for the first month + $20/mo after that seems pricey. Might be worth it but hard to tell from the website.

Just stufu if you still want to plug DC in a thread.

He's not asking for a recommandation for a training site he is asking
for a Poker VT review.

OP: There a big review here: http://www.pokertrainingguide.com/re...vt.com-review/

Re: POKER VT REVIEW!!!

poker vt is great for tourneys but lacking in quantity for cash games.quality of cash game vids is excellent with the jon ettinger ones exceptional.the cash game vids deal mainly with low stakes.

Re: Cardrunners or Poker X Factor or ???

For Sit & Go I recommend Sitngogrinders. I think you will get the best value for money there.

For MTT's Poker Pwnage is the best site imo because of the coaching line up.

Poker x Factor is good for both I suppose but I haven't checked it out personally.

Deucescracked, Stox Poker, or Grinders School. The others are either too expensive or they just are not good. Pokersavvy was good but alot of people left. Bond18 from there is a good MTT teacher.

hello there

can answer the following questions

1. are there modules longer then the demo modules or just the same amount so if i was to join i would get the basic demo module plus about 20 more ?

2. how many modules are there on pot limit omaha specifically

3. all in all how many modules are there ?

i asked the contact us and got no reply and when I get email notifications it is always about join us now for early access.
so i am still of the opnion that it is a beta program ?
perhaps that is why there is no forum and testimonials yet.

I'm a member at PokerVT before you speak that's why I asked WHAT he wanted to know. As for your suggestion, I agree with that. I got blasted on another thread for suggestion that site as a matter of fact.

Re: Cardrunners or Poker X Factor or ???

Both of those sites have really high sign up fees which i dont see any reason for.
Deuces Cracked has the sitngo game on lock. AMT and Vandweller are great teachers. For MTTs they have Bones and Iweargoggles, they are goood but just primarily put out random MTT videos. Stox may be ur best bet though they have great MTT and Sng coverage.

Re: * Official Training Site Discussion Thread *

for nl cash in general hu/6max Leggo and DC are at the top. Next Bluefire, maybe StoxPoker shares this spot too, though they are different in scope. Bluefire is a few solid/outstanding pros, Stox is more content/less quality(ish) Imo. Third tier i have CardRunners and PokerSavvy. CR is the legend, and i would guess they still have a good market for beginning nl players, but they made it obvious a year or more ago they cared more about pandering to their market than putting out cutting edge videos, read: lot of small stakes, thn one bonus video of the HIGH STAKES!! Every Friday! lucky you. PokerSavvy seems like a stepping stone for up and coming players/producers as their best seem to move on to other sites, but there is still some good content there, but lower traffic.

When CR began diversifying their videos towards smaller and different games, Leggo continued to put out a range of nl videos in a variety of stakes. less business, more running the streets. this is a nl cash grinders go to.

But on par with Leggo or arguably more complete as a site is DC. Where Leggo's lack of pandering proved to outshine competition before, DC's consistent evolution as a site has made it the most user friendly and one of the best if not thee.

Whats wrong with her face?

Also, I disagree. I would say Bluefire are the best poker training site for NL followed by DC, Leggo, Savvy/CR.

best training site coaches

I have a cardrunners account so i have an idea who the best coaches are there. Townsend, nutedawg, vital, are great. Any other goods video makers at CR that i have missed out?

My question is who are the best coaches making the best videos on the other training sites? And how do the other training sites measure upto CR? Is it worth me subscribing to a new site or is CR all i'll ever need?

Thanks inadvance,

Re: best training site coaches

they have some mid-stakes coaches like jcl and irock. both of those are very good. not as good as townsend because hes just a beast, but their videos are more up to date with how the current games play.

leggo poker is also decent for small-mid stakes coaches - they have a wide range of coaches there. bluefire has phil galfond who is worth paying membership for alone. dc is meh imo but some people really like it. i think dc is best for micro stakes. i find their mid-stakes coaches to be a bit run-of-the-mill.
