Re: **ALL Training Site Discussion Goes Here**

WTF? Joined just to PokerXFactor as I've heard and read from many sources that it's the best training site for MTT's.

Finished just watching first video from sheets and I'm quite shocked with the stuff he does.

He flat-calls CO's raise with KQo 18BB deep on the BTN.

He over-limps with 65s 15BB deep from the HJ.

He open-limps 33 with 13BB's from UTG+1.

He open-limps 76s 32BB deep from UTG+2.

On 200/400/25, he haves 3600 on the HJ. He raises it to 1200 and then folds to BB's shove even though hes getting all the odds in the world.

DC has some vids about mathematics of poker, and the 'real life microlimit grinder' series which are excellent for that low stakes nl, and leggo has better high stakes vids by current winners, bttech86 vids for example

pokerxfactor is incredibly dated imo, it was very good years ago. i got a free trial there for buying a book a year ago and learnt nothing new from jon turner's vids, sheets, etc. it was simplistic concepts for beginners that are like common sense in today's fields. i don't play tournaments but apparently tournamentpokeredge.com is good, and more current information

not sure where you reliably heard it was good, i've seen very little about it written on 2+2 in this thread for example in recent times. shouldn't believe much you read anywhere other than threads like this, lot of biased bs info out there

I think Grinderschool is one of the better sites around for people starting out, or grinding their way through the micros. There are great How to Master series for cash, mtt, sng and hunl. Definately worth a look, and has a great skype channel as well.

Best part is the trainers/members more than happy to help out with HH review, sweats and videos without the extra $$$$. Definately worth a look for any microlimit player.

As far as basics go, Grinderschool have a great batch of How To Master series for Cash, HUNL, SNG and MTT. For complete beginners, or those trying to increasy their winrate.

They release a video every day and cover all forms of the game.

Re: **ALL Training Site Discussion Goes Here**

I posted in rakeback/bonuses but think it was wrong forum..

does anyone know how/why coaching videos of leggo and bluefire etc appear on ptr? is it some new affiliate deal or did everyone decide to just pay for advertising there? seems strange theres so many sites there at once.

also are they all just 2 minute previews? because i'm not too happy if i pay full subscription and they put up full length vids on ptr for free

Re: **ALL Training Site Discussion Goes Here**

^yeah the ones i clicked were 2 minute previews unless the videos were already free on the respective sites. Not sure why PTR is advertising them, or the sites would want them to, doesn't make much sense. But none seemed to be free full length vids exclusive to PTR as they are implying

Re: **ALL Training Site Discussion Goes Here**

Why wouldn't general/cash training sites want to advertise on PTR? High traffic, relevant to what they are selling...
