Pretty sure deucescracked, leggo, bluefire, stoxpoker and some others will all be happy with their current membership levels.

Hi guys,

Firstly, apologies Troy if you didnt receive the email informing you of the sale of pokerswat.com (or read the notices on the forum/members area). We expect this process to be complete within the next 2 weeks. All PokerSwat memberships will be honoured. A further email is due to be sent out to all members tomorrow morning.

The term 'scam' most certainly does not apply here.

Please PM me on here if you need any help with your account and/or send on an email to contact at pokerswat.com

Mods please PM me if you need any confirmation.

Mods might be able to do that if you ask them.

Since you seem to be part of the site, have there been any news about what's happening to the relaunch/the site being bought out by another training-site?
Not to my knowledge. I'll do what I can here but I just make videos and have no stake in the site myself.

mods,

feel free to read this thread and edit my posts in favor of pokerswat (the word scam/names of players/etc) as they're showing a lot of quick class in this thread which I appreciate.

thanks

Which is why I singled out the smaller sites like pokerswat, pokervt, proplaylive. Do you think you could read the post next time before embarrassing yourself?

The description meta tag on the page says "Over 30 new poker coaching videos every month", and this shows up prominently on google and other places. That is obviously not true anymore and has not been true for a couple of months. I would suggest you fix that.

Pretty sure they said something about being bought out, revamping the software for downloads and get new coaches.

Maybe they'll merge with PokerSavvy or something.

Whether or not you informed the members of change of ownership has nothing to do with this. There havn't been any new videos for nearly 3 months. Your site claims to put up dozens of new videos every month. Just give the man his money back already.

Why does almost every post in this thread say "edited by Kevmath"?

Because the title of the OP was edited, the only other content was changed was the second half of Troy Gamble's first post.

Just wanted to give an overview:
  • PokerSwat.com is in the process of being sold/taken over - This is due to be complete within the next couple of weeks.
  • During this sale period, all active memberships are paused. So, since new videos stopped being released, no time has been used up on any members account.
  • New signups (as paying members) has been disabled since new videos stopped being released.
  • All PokerSwat memberships will be honoured in full.
  • Kevmath has no personal interest in PokerSwat.

We want to apologise if there was any confusion caused. Feel free to pm me here or send on an email to contact at pokerswat.com if you have any queries.

I am a member and it's a joke. No community, no forums, no intreraction w/ other students. The modules are basically a quiz where they ask "what would u do"? I thought u would play against an advanced computer and they would point out ur leaks. I dont reccomend. Anyone new to training sites I would Recomend
Deucescracked, Stox Poker, or Grinders School. The others are either too expensive or they just are not good. Pokersavvy was good but alot of people left. Bond18 from there is a good MTT teacher.

I'm not surprised. thanks for the honest mini-review. I've noticed a lot of sites have really gone down hill, and a lot of the newer sites are basically junk.

I had a week long free membership to stox and I was unimpressed. It seems like an alright site with a lot of content and some good selection. However I noticed a lot of the videos were very low quality - grainy/small/bad audio, etc. Just very very poor compared to what they should be. It's very easy to make a high quality video these days, so I don't understand why 75% of the videos I watched were hard to see the actual cards.

Also, some of the vids contained huge errors which I pointed out on the forums but got lackluster response.

I play a lot of MTTs and I was wondering what you guys think if the best site for low - mid stakes SnGs and MTTs. Please post which one and WHY.

I have heard good things about both but I am ready to sign up, and want to make the best choice. I am not stuck on these 2 either....
