DC and CR seem to be the most popular among micro / small stakes players. There's been plenty of discussion about specific series on both sites earlier in this thread.

I saw bfp released their MTT team today. Has anyone checked them out? I am going to give the free trial a shot.

Who are the pros? I don't see a formal announcement on their site.

I have been a member of some of the bigger training sites and i can give you my list of easy to follow and winning coaches for 6max NL:

For Microstakes and beginners I would join Cardrunners.
MDoranD http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...search/MDoranD and Verneer http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...r-search/TheXC
are the coaches to look for.

Small to Midstakes I would join Leggopoker. Leggo has a lot of really good coaches small to midstakes and higher, too many to name them all.

My favorite coaches from Leggo are:
JamesMa http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...arch/JamesMa99
Bw07507 http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...search/bw07507
Steel108 http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...search/kes1981
Harangutang http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/39...gutang-783125/
Sauce123 is a beast of course and Aejones video are really good too. Especially the newer 50NL series from sauce is very good but he doesn't produce a lot of videos.

Bluefirepoker is a very good site too but rather aiming at Mid to High stakes.
For 6max Bluefire has
Samoleus, http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...earch/punketty
DrGiggy, http://www.pokertableratings.com/ful...search/DrGiggy
Neil http://www.pokertableratings.com/sta...rch/whirleymob
AlanJackson and recently they added Leatherass9.
And of course Phil Galfond/MrSweets28 i guess everyone knows him. He is more into PLO these days but still producing a NL video from time to time.
All of their 6max coaches produce very good quality videos imo.

My best advice is to first browse around these sites and look at some of the videos who are available, look whats interesting for you. Read some of the comments and the forums.

there's a v good post above yours or you could try reading a bit of the thread. there's no way to say what's 'best' there are good and not so good coaches on every site and it depends on what you're looking for

What would be the best place to go for currently 6max nl50 player (mixing a little with nl100). The thing is, I'd like to move up through stakes up to nl600 next year. I'm thinking about bluefirepoker/deucescracked/leggopoker/cardrunners. Also, frequency of new videos uploads is important (and quality of them obviously).

Any help appreciated, thanks.

(PS. I know there is a nice summary 2 posts above, but I think I could benefit more if you recommend me a site knowing the moving up process, from nl50 up to nl600, I think it is revelant)

Does Deucescracked have some good sng\sngmtt\mtt video's?
Or is it a site for cash games only?

I would check out the free trials at the major sites. Test different coaches and their styles and see which one resonates best with you.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place in the forums for this question, so please just move it to where it belongs if that place is not here.

Intro:

In the past few months i have been playing sng of 27-90-180 plyrs with a few cashes in all different fields espescially the 27 $3.50 seemed to suit me quite well. However the cashes have been declining for 3+ weeks now and i've decided to give the short-handed micro cash games one last serious go.

I've been playing short-handed micro-stakes on and of for two years now, however my volume is just to small. One period of about 20k hands in feb/mar 2011 i played reasonably ok with 5bb/100 while regularly reviewing trouble hands and posting in the forums. This seemed to really help my game but as soon as i dropped the hand reviewing and the regular posting of trouble hands i became over confident and lost and lost and lost. Hence my short break into SnG's.
However i feel confident that when i regain the discipline of my brief but succesful 2 months and subscribe to a coaching site i can develop into a winning player.

Question:
What site do you guys recommend, I've been reading some site-reviews, appart from the famous big sites such as cardrunners and deucescracked one site caught my eye, which presumably caters the beginner, namely grinderschool dot com.
What i was wondering is can you download the trainingvideos on to you hard drive and review them even after your subscription has ended, or can you only stream the videos?

Thank you!

Hi Guys,

Im looking to either get into some hyper STTs or some CAP play. Do any sites in particular cover these areas? i guess hypers are kind of the same as turbos, but what about CAP?

Also - does deucescracked let you search by type of game, eg, turbo 9 man, or just video series, i cant seem to search for specific game types?

Thanks

In what sense? Working on playing more 'optimally' due to having no HUD stats? Matt Janda's series on cardrunners is good

Advice on paying attention/getting a read quickly? There are lots of 'no HUD' videos out there. Maybe galfond on bluefire, his commentary is on a way higher level than just looking at stats

There's been a lot of news lately about anon tables not being anon by the way, specifically on party and bodog, if you search 2+2. Glitches that are hopefully now fixed. The former just has HU anon tables, which I wouldn't recommend anyway as party HU rake is capped at $1 compared to $0.50 on most sites, making it hard to beat at low stakes. And Bodog obv is hard to win on full stop as you only get ~1-3% rakeback from their VIP points system.

That just leaves sites like cool hand poker (never played there but I heard they offer them, I'm sure many other small sites do too, up to you if you want to trust these types of sites with your funds) and sites with screen-names that don't support HUDs/get tracked on PTR (again these'll be small shady ones, I read Cake now has changed their policy and allows them).

I've been a member at Higherlevelpoker.com for a few months, they have some really good small stakes content that you just can't beat for the pirce they charge per month. All the instructors there post in the forums regularly and you get really good responses from people who really know their stuff.

I use it more than I ever used any other training site. I think it's like $9 a month so you save a lot compared to DC etc..

Never heard of that coaching site. The design of that website looks kinda familiar . The Coaches seem to be good after a quick look. I thought Whirleymob coaches at bluefire.

Hey guys, i hope somebody here could help me with some answers.

I am a sng player that wants too go over too MTT, i wanna find the best site for that.

Although i am not the best MTT player for sure ,-)) i am a winning SNG player, so i would rather find the best MTT training site with the most content of my mostr problems i deal with.

Like mental mind, preparation, building the BR, organazing, thoughprocesses in general,.. etc,...

So not so much about actually play and saying raise here fold there, but all the topics covering poker besides play then.

I was with sng grinders and signed up for a month with dragthebar now,... But they both seem to have too much of that.

So any advise is greatly appriciated, tx.

Have you tried taking advantage of the free trials that the major sites offer?

^nope, 100% all the major sites now offer free trials - deucescracked, leggo, bluefire, drag the bar, cardrunners (they took their sweet time but i believe they now do have this), pokersavvy (think it still exists?) etc. and ways to get longer term subscriptions for free via rakeback deals, if you decide you want to stick with them

also all of the 'lolztrainingsitereviewz.com' type of websites online are just affiliate shills, they write whatever and then hope you click their banner ads instead of going directly to the sites to sign up, that way they get paid a cut. ignore those - your best, real, unbiased source of info is this thread, others like it, or forum threads on the actual sites where real users post comments

in regards to your question before about MTT sites, if you read this thread you'll see a few people recommend tournamentpokeredge.com, i don't use it but it is apparently quite solid and up to date. try the free samples on there and read the forums first, then see if you like it. i just checked and it doesn't have a 7 day view all content-type free trial like the top 5 training sites do, but at least it has some sample videos, and a 1 month sub is just $24, which is competitive.

Any recommendations of what site has the best videos for full ring micro stakes cash games?

I've seen some DTB videos and been impressed whilst I've also heard good things about Cardrunners.

Any advice?
