I play NL100 and plan to move to NL200 soon and I am looking for coach to help me fix few leaks.

My biggest problem is playing from blinds.

I am looking for someone that is beating 1/2+ right now not half year ago

Pm me with your offer.

Hi, I'm a swede who's relatively new to poker currently reading "Getting started in HOLD'EM by Ed Miller" while playing at pokerstars with play money.

My goal is to become a professional hold'em player which I think can be within my reach considering I have a passion for math and that I have been taught that poker is a lot about statistics. I might not be the brightest kid on the planet, but with an exceptional teacher, I might just get close enough to be good at poker.

I hope to find a teacher who could basically help me understand and give me insight in how to play with the statistics on your mind and the thought process when you are in a game. What cards to play, when to fold and etc.

As I mentioned earlier I am relatively new to playing poker on "the next level", so I might also need to be taught some poker terms that I might not be familiar with but are useful.

I would also not mind just having a contact on for example skype who I can ask questions, you don't have to be a teacher per se, just be a quick access to answers.

I am going to start playing on micro stakes once I feel ready for it, which is soon.

This is a request to get some good answers for what I want now. Some data first. I am playing 6max turbo's. I have had several coaches in which I have indeed improved my game. The things I still need to work on is sb bb push scenarios adapting ranges against fish and regulars. The main issue however is when I am left hu. What is the issue? Well to much second places over 3 or 4 % more.

Now I a know which part I need to work on I want that coach who is first of all VERY SUCCESSFULLY him or herself having the record to show it in order to show me guaranteed improvement. I have a sponsor paying my coaching, therefore after I talked to him he does not really care about the price but he wants results. It depends ofcourse upon the student. Well the student is not that stupid so in this case we should have success. I am focused upon being the best and have moved to Portugal after online poker became illegal in the states.

You can sent me and email at thebarkingstorkonstage11@gmail.com or reply at this thread. Thanks in advance for all responses and I m looking to the best advice I can get, so shoot!

I have been for the most part a NL Holdem tournament player it seemed logical to get the most experience for the cheapest price. I have played in tournaments from 40 dollars up to 150 dollars having cashed multiple times in all. I can not give a percentage of wins because i did not think about trying to keep it recorded. At the time it was a hobby a fun one that made me money. I love the game and want to expand my game to include cash game omaha limit. As well as improve my tournament play. I can not say at this point what lv I can play at though from what I have read it should be at least mid stakes or better to go pro. And that is what my goal is, to go pro and continually improve my game.

I'm a young player looking for help in my MTT game. I play mostly small-medium stakes (buy-ins anywhere from $50-350). I have been playing for 2 years and have been a break even player, but don't have stats to provide as I didn't get in much online experience before black friday. I'm just wanting to improve and become a more active tournament player. You can get ahold of me at ethan14@live.missouristate.edu.

Good evening, Ive just seen these forums and feel Id be a good candidate for coaching. My total loss over a year is just $400 in 1000 games since starting out from sctach, I do well in some and not others, there is no consistency I feel. I've won $60 heads up and finished in top 50's of a few freeroles/low stakes tourneys (over 3000 entrants). I would play higher levels but just dont have the confidence to do so. I am a very willing learner, Im online almost every minute i dont work, usually playing poker, my target is just to earn a few hundred dollars a month. If I can do that I would be over the moon. Im good at maths, and am an Analyst by trade so feel I can apply these skills into poker, if I knew how. Any help would be welcome.

I'm looking for a LHE coach in the SCal/LA area.

I play mostly 3-6/4-8 level at either Commerce or Bike; some play at HG and the surrounding Reservation Casinos.

Like to think I'm a somewhat decent player, but would like to improve my game.

If there is anyone that can help me with my game, please feel free to PM me and I will get back to you ASAP.

Thanks

I would suggest starting a stand alone thread if you want to discuss rates/% in general.

It's really tough to say without more information, but if you haven't had any profitable success in poker, it's hard to say any % is a bad deal for you in the short term. Long term, as long as it's not too prohibitive, you should be getting a fair deal (players often overestimate their future success and are too nitty giving up long term %s when they aren't winning and someone good offers to help them win... just make sure you lock them into giving you value if you're giving them potential value).

If it's $$ for coaching, then you need to really take a look at the coach and their qualifications. Reviews from others, their own success at the tables, their reputation in the community and purchase a preview session before you buy any big package or lock into some sort of a longer term arrangement.
