i am trying to work on my stud game and am looking for a serious coach. i am primarily interested in working on my game to start prepping for high stakes live horse and stud MTTs, but also online MTTs. i have 1st place finishes in each of the stud formats (razz, hi, and 8) low/mid stakes, and 1st place finishes in each of the $16, $30, $109 and $215 horse MTTs on pokerstars, so i am no amateur at stud. i don't know very advanced stud specific odds and tactics, but i am excellent at MTT theory and i have not been able to devote much time toward progressing in stud via software or forums. i placed 2nd in the $215 razz this sunday and never had such polarized feelings about my stud skill set. part of me felt that i was so far ahead of the field that they all just had their thumbs up their butts. part of me felt like i had no clue what was going on.

anyway, i prefer not to offer $, but i'd consider offering a % of my stud action, or a swap for me to coach you in MTT theory. i am only looking for a very professional relationship with an elite stud coach who is interested in working with an elite MTT player.

Never posted here but I am interested under the right circumstances for a short term MTT coach(Really only a few sessions most likely). I am really only looking to get a couple of nuances figured out(precisely how to effectively use HUD while playing). This is probably pretty simplistic for some yet my experience with HUd's are limited.

I am not a newb, I am a HU sng pro, play at the $345 limits. I just have been burning money in mtt's and could use some guidance. Shoot me a pm, I will only deal with those with a proven track record.

hey i know its a long shot but i have been playing poker since november, but i use the term loosely. until a month ago all i did was play mtts wit big prize pools lookn for a big score. i realizded thats not how its done and i need to take my game and my br managment much more serious. i recently started grinding 180s on ps and try to stick exclusively to them but i also play other low buy in mtts and hope that after i grind a roll from 180s i can move to mtts. im looking for a coach who can help me become the winner i desire to be. i love poker and my ultimate goal is for poker to be my main source of income. obv i have a long way to go. im willing to do wutever i can to be the best i can i just need someone to get me there. ideally im looking for a coaching for profite deal being that my roll is only for 4/180s so that would be whats best for me but like i said if i cnt find that i really do wna do wutever i can do beomce a seroius mtt player. please pm me or email me at cstasiak23@gmail.com thank you

Honestly I agree with what you're saying as a general principle that coaching rates are often a bit ridiculous. In practice it's pretty hard to find coaches that charge reasonable amounts so we just have to take what we can get as students unless we can find a coach who charges more reasonable rates.

I do have sufficient money to play those stakes, but what I am looking for is a coach who I could rail sometime playing those stakes, I'll pay through stars.


I just want to ask a few questions while watching the coach play, just to make sure whether I make the right decisions while playing kind of fast.
This preferably while using teamviewer, since im on a Mac, and don't know any other programme.

I don't want to pay a thousand an hour or so, and am just looking for a few hours of coaching, not ten+ but just 3 or 4 to check my leaks.


I have played a lot of hold em and omaha live, but not too much online, omaha is starting to bore me and I want to switch back to hold'em a bit.

I play cash game i think 10 months, a few months on nl25.

I play 24 tables full ring @ PS,40-100bb tables, 25$ full stack.
i am platinum star - last month i make +- 85000 hands. my vpip is 12%, pfr 7, 3bet 1.2
I play range 88+ and A10+.i july im -443$

I would like to be profitable - for start 1-2bb/100 and with 400$ a month on nl 25 i would be happy. of course i would like to move up later.

from the coach i d like to know WHY i am losing player , how to play hands pre and post flop. and of course how to beat nl25 and higher with my robot style.(or somehow)

Looking for an MTT coach.

My MTT experience in the past 4-5 years is zero, I'm getting a little bored of full ring and want to mix things up a bit.

I'm looking for someone who can explain the differences between all aspects of cash and MTT play etc etc.

I'm well versed in poker theory etc and what I am really looking for is someone who can break down the strategy differences between early/mid and late stages in the tourney as well as stealing and re steal ranges etc based on stack sizes blah blah blah.

I am a 180man SNG regular who is looking to transition into MTTs. I have begun the process of learning MTTs and the 1st subject I want to tackle is the theory behind reshoving/restealing,3betting,4betting and defending against 3bet/4bets,etc. I am looking for a coach who 1) is a mid to high stakes regular 2) has lots of experience (~4000+ MTTs played) 3) significantly profitable 4) be able break down the reasoning and logic behind the theory using math

You don't have to fit that criteria exactly, its just a rough representation of the type of player i am willing to pay for advice.

well im not probably good enough to coach but in general, you want to be in theory three betting with position but now a days you want to 3bet oop cuz people know that players three bet with position so oop looks stronger. i have also 4bet with 10-6 or any other random cards in certain situations. let say you have played some hands with a player in a ring game and you know he is a reg. also you know that he knows you are a reg. and he raises a good amount from LP. let say he raises the button, you 3bet from BB he folds. let say you do that again. let say it goes back and forth where you 3bet n he 4bets n you fold. eventually, he willl start 4 betting you so now you know that he knows that you are 3betting light. but he doesnt know that you know that he knows. so now u can 5bet shove.

also i think if you are gonna 3bet a decent amount, then you should always play your strong hands strongly. only slow play in like absolutely obv. situations. hope this helps

I am interested in some coaching from someone who specializes in playing Double or Nothing SNG's. I only started playing poker about 18 months ago, but have been a winning player from the start. I have tried all types of tournaments (6 Max Non-turbo, Full Ring Non-Turbo, Full Ring turbo, Heads Up) but about 9 months ago I started playing Double or Nothings and have stuck with them. I am a naturally TAG player and so they suit me well, I currently play the $21.60 Non-turbo Double or Nothing's on PokerStars and occasionally the $10.70 or $25 D ones on Cake Poker. I have a 5-6% ROI and am a winning player, but would like to do better by finding and plugging the leaks in my game. I belong to SitnGoGrinders.com and CardRunners, but neither have any specific coaching on Double or Nothing SNG's.

I'm looking for a cheap 25nl coach but preferably a coaching split over the long term for 6 max. I'm currently about to move up to 25nl and I'm very comfortable at 10nl. Had a couple bad sessions back to back and I'm looking to improve a lot and move up quickly. I can put in about 30k hands a month, more if I play rush (would love rush coaching also).
