I'm looking to get into HUNL, and would like to find a staking coach to work with.

I'm currently in a staking deal with 2 players in the uNL/SSNL forums, and my FR game has improved dramatically over the 100k hands I've been working with them.

I've started watching videos on HU play, but I am so beyond beginner at this type of play, that I'm even having trouble finding my optimal opening/calling ranges; which of course leads to poor villain hand ranging.

What I'm looking for, is a stake of about 6-10BIs for 50nlHU, along with several sweat sessions for the first week or two. At this point, I would like a weekly sweat to help plug leaks, review hands, etc... I'm willing to devote about 50k hands to this stake (negotiable ldo), with about 10-15k hands per month, as I will still be grinding nlFR in the meantime.

Lifetime, I'm back upto BE, as I ran, as well as played, very poorly for my first 40k hands or so at 25nl. Over the last month and a half, I've made about 1k in profits. I play on average about 35-50k hands per month.

If you would like to speak to my current FR coaches to verify my dedication / willingness to learn and improve, I will PM their SNs (with their permission , ofc).

Decent WR over a large sample preferred.

6max NL50 player looking for a coach with some experience in bringing players from uNL through to SSNL/MSNL (NL200+). Since I play micros the rate has to be reasonable but can increase as I move up, profit sharing can be arranged if it means I get a better coach with a more reasonable flat rate. Ideally one session per week or once per fortnight and the availability to run through hands/problems/etc on AIM/MSN/Skype or send vids to (for an extra fee obviously) to go through in their own time etc etc.

Coach should ideally be beating NL200+ with a good WR and be verifiable on PTR, have had a few previous students (hopefully 2+2ers) w/ good results and is fluent in English.

Please pm me details (incl. site sn's) and I'll get back to you asap!

I am looking for a 6max PLO coach. I am currently grinding .25/.50 rush on full tilt. I am 3-4 tabling profitably but i have only played about 40-50k hands lifetime PLO compared to a couple million hands of NL holdem. I need help identifying my leaks, tightening up my hand selection by position, ect. I am not trying to break the bank on coaching as it is coming out of my modest bankroll. I am looking for a coach who is a well respected and successful PLO specialist with a rate that I can afford. I appreciate your time reading my post ~ Tony

Looking for an affordable MTT coach with heavy 180-turbo experience and strong results. I have light experience at the level and would probably need an overhauling in my MTTSNG fundamentals.

Hey,

I'm looking to build rep/client base before paying to be a "sponsored coach" here on 2+2. My coaching experience is limited, hence why this is necessary, but I'm positive that I have the skills necessary to help any player seeking coaching at the 10NL-200NL level.

I had 1 "formal" student before, a 2+2er (50NL player), who received 2 sessions. Also, I've spent the past few weeks teaching two of my better "non-poker" friends about the game, and both have since made deposits to play 5-10NL (I intend to help them as much as necessary until they're beating the micro's)...

I can verify that I'm a winning player (5PTBB/100++) across 10NL-200NL, via HEM/PTR etc...

PM me if you play micro/small stakes NLHE and are looking for some FREE coaching, all I ask is that you take the time to write an honest review afterwards so that I could potentially use you as a reference in the future, deal? Thanks!

I'm a 200NL regular on FTP who has broken-even for the past six months pre-rakeback (and has only made a very modest winrate post-rakeback). I'm considering coaching as I'd really like to take my game to the next level and, hopefully, get to the point where I'm beating 200NL and beyond.

I have to confess that I'm a bit skeptical about "traditional" coaching, and would appreciate it if coaches made the effort when contacting me to explain why their programs are different from traditional coaching. The thing that makes me most skeptical about traditional coaching is that, while it strikes me that it could work well for players with big and glaringly obvious leaks, it's much more difficult to find more subtle leaks in break-even players such as myself, where we don't make many mistakes and the mistakes we make aren't of as great a magnitude. Traditional "sweat" sessions or video reviews strike me as unhelpful since it's unlikely that you'll find leaks in the span of only one hour that make that big a difference in one's winrate.

Another thing that makes me skeptical about the overall experience is that there's no check for quality control; the coach gets paid either way, regardless of whether I start booking a positive win rate. Because of this, I'm also open to a "profit sharing" agreement where the coach is incentivized to help me improve, and the coach's income is generated as my income is generated. Even if I end up paying more than the coach's normal hourly rate, I'd say that it's well worth it since the coach will have an obvious stake in helping me improve and, therefore, will put in the extra effort to do so.

If any coaches are open to "profit sharing," I think that I would be a great candidate for a couple reasons: 1. I previously played STTs professionally and was entirely self-taught in them, working to the point where I was making $7K/month in that format (playing as high as the $236s); I have a mind that's made for poker, and would love it if my cash game improved to the level of my STT game (and beyond), and 2. the reason I stopped playing professionally is because Stanford University offered me a position on faculty; when I no longer needed poker money to pay the bills, I viewed it as something of a "freeroll," a time where I could learn cash games, a potentially more profitable form of poker. From my current position at Stanford, you can probably infer that I'm an intelligent and hard working guy who is very capable of learning from you! (By the way, if you want to verify my position at Stanford, I'll happily give you my full name and send you an e-mail from my @stanford.edu account; you can then look me up at stanfordwho.stanford.edu).

Regardless of whether you want a "profit sharing" agreement or a more traditional hourly rate (or some combination of both), go ahead and PM me and we'll talk! Please include your screen names and sites you play at.

I play on-line (PokerStars, FullTilt), stakes NL25 - NL100 and MTT (range 5$ - 20$), but I am not regular and struggling with BRM. I am ready to listen and learn everything I have to. I think I am perceptive and quick learning. In poker I am loose agressive with good read.

I'm willing to invest lot of time to achieve the level of skill i wish for. Can you help me?
