Shouldnt be a problem. I would just check out the Poker Coach Listings forum and basically just read about the different coaches. Most have student reviews posted on their page. At these stakes I would for sure pay no more than $50 an hour. I know there are some really good 6 max coaches in that thread. Check it out!!!

I am potentially looking for someone to coach me by watching me play maybe 5 or 6 sit n gos on full tilt...while talking to the coach on aim. Aside from some basic strategy talk...in looking for my coach to point out any mistakes i make...where i need improvement. I will describe on aim to the coach my thinking behind all my bets..calls..etc and would like feedback on whether it is correct or flawed thinking. I have no idea if this is how a typical lesson goes as i am completely new to getting coached in poker but if any reputable coaches are interested please let me know.Thanks.

I dont coach sit n go's however I just wanted to point out that coaching done thru sweats( watching you play) is done thru real time voice communication via skype or other programs.

I have played 50nl for almost a year and this is the same trend month to month. I started playing 100nl last month and the same trend is happening there only more. I run around 15/12 while 12 tabling.

I currently have a bankroll of $1900.

I play as much as I possibly can which is usually 4 hours a day and more on weekends as long as time spent studying/watching videos. I've become pretty dedicated to getting good, but I'm pretty lost right now.

I've just moved up from 25nl to 50nl on stars.

It took me about 30k hands to start beating 25nl, but i am now confident I can beat it consistently.

Ive played 11k hands of 50nl which isnt much but im down about 500 at 50nl total.

I know this is a problem for a lot of people.. but my redline is just a line straight down to hell.

My stats are pretty weird as well.. over a 50k hand sample at 25nl ive been playing 16/13 and winning at a rate of 1.5 BB's and over 11k hands at 50nl I'm playing 16/12 losing at -3.5 BB's.

I know I should be playing more loose than that but when im playing i feel like there arent many profitable spots to do so.. I've spent a lot of time watching videos on DC and reading a lot of stuff, but I've been stuck in a rut and I know its because i need to open up my game, I just don't know where.

Everytime I try to play loose by isolating limpers and stealing more it feels like I get owned. (my redline proves that) I think I know what boards are good to cbet. Im gonna end my rant there.

For those of you FR players...

That redline will be negative unless you start putting money in with losers and suck out or value bet so heavily you never actually get called with your winners.

The red line should be where your losers go (dah)... so getting that line into the + range, especially in a FR setting, is not a realistic goal.

Looking for PLO8 Coach (or plo) - micros.
Struggling badly with plo8, but it is plo8 that I want to learn, but would welcome plo coaches too. I specifically want rush poker coaching on FT as it is my preferred form of the game from an entertainment point of view.

Hours sought:
Ideally I'm looking for 1-4 hrs of coaching just to iron out some basic errors and get me to break even or small winner.

Stakes:
plo8 is only available at 50plo so this would have to be my learning ground.
plo runs as low as 10plo but would prefer 25plo.

Rates:
I'm unsure of rates but would generally consider paying 1 buy in per hour. i.e. plo 25 coach gets 25 per hour. that being said, i cant afford 50 per hour for plo8, so $25 is kinda my max.

So incredibly untrue. It's not a "must have" by any stretch but a positive redline is very possible at any level of FR and quite possibly easier to get at FR than 6-max.

Positive redline is very possible.

But in my opinion you should not be focusing on what your redline is doing. There are winners with a positive redline and winners with a negative redline, it's a function of your style and the style of your opponents.
