Re: **All Coaching Requests Go Here**

Heyh ! I'm playing at Poker Stars and in overall I'm a losing player, but just recently i've been starting to move up the stakes all the way up to 25nl. I'm looking for a Limit Holdem FR coach.

Biggest plus would be that your a finnish coach, so the discussion will be more easily understood. Would be great also if you speak fluent english.

So yeah, I'm looking for a limit coach for FR. Add me on skype "Kartsah" and offer me your price. Coaching will be done via Skype voice chat and teamviewer !

Re: **All Coaching Requests Go Here**

Hello all.

Before I explain my situation and how I got here, what I'm looking for is a coach for cash games - probably 25NL and moving onwards and upwards - who'd be interested in doing a profit share deal over an agreed amount of time. I thought this might appeal to some american players/coaches post-Black Friday. I've attached my Sharkscope and pokertracker stats too.

Right then, where to start! Basically, over the last couple of months I've just found myself getting really bored of SnG's. I've gradually moved from 2-4 tables to 12-16 ($3/6/12 90 mans on FTP) over the course of this year and I feel like recently I've stunted my growth as a player, partly because of the amount of tables and partly because of the games. It's not like I think I know all there is to know about these games - I understand my place in the pecking order - just that I feel a bit stuck and I've stopped enjoying them as they've been my main game for about 18 months now and lots of spots are so standard. These feelings have been compounded by quite a lot of run-bad which hasn't helped. Obviouisly, you end up in a lot of very marginal spots in MT SnGs - that's just their nature - and when variance is kicking you in the balls I think they're a difficult game to rationalize. I love playing larger field MTTs and I don't think I'll ever stop playing them alongside my usual daily grind but I really think I'd like that daily grind to be cash games. I've been playing a lot more this year than every before and am really enjoying that side of things. 100bbs give you so much more scope to really play a hand or an opponent and I also feel this would help my MTT game too as many MTTs play a lot more similarly to cash with deeper stacks etc. Also, whilst I hope I'm not being naive to the variance of it, it feels like it hurts a lot less for me so far in ring games because you're not getting it all in as a 60/40 favourite so often. Ultimately, the main reason is that I feel playing cash games would give me a more stable way of making an income in the long-run.

Anyway, enough procrastination. If this is something anyone would be interested in please drop me a PM. Thanks in advance.

Re: **All Coaching Requests Go Here**

I've been playing poker for about 6 years now. Most of the time its been my only source of income. I've mostly been a live cash game player (2/5, 5/10), although I've played quite a bit online. My passion for the game seems to fluctuate, and when I'm motivated I usually do fairly well. I've been getting into MTT's and PLO of late and would like to improve in these areas the most. I'm looking for someone to bring my game to the next level, and help keep me motivated. I suppose more than anything, I'm looking for structure, and a regimented approach to the game vs my haphazard way.

Thanks to anyone that PM's me!

Self-Sabotage

I have been playing poker both online and live for ten years now. I have had a reasonable amount of success while playing infrequently during that time. This include several 10k+ tournament cashes and success at cash tables from 1/2 nl early on to more recently 5/10 nl. I feel I am a strong player and understand the game well, the issue that I am facing is that I consistently will play like garbage impulsively. It is like my brain shuts down and I am just watching a train wreck happen. This will often occur after I have a big tournament cash or large cash game win and go back to play over the next week or so. I will make raises or call at horribly inappropriate times while being fully aware how bad the play is. It is as though I have no control at this point or no self-awareness. This trend has occurred throughout my poker career and has kept me from increasing my bankroll substantially and feeling secure in an attempt to play professionally. I am wondering if anyone has dealt with something similar or might have some advice on where to look for ways break this cycle. I have tried to address this for years now with no luck on my own, so I am reaching out.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: **All Coaching Requests Go Here**

The quick bit:-

Im looking for a coach for NL25 FR.

The Long Bit:-

Ive had 3 threads in the Poker Goals Forum which give my full story:-

Dont Be Scared Move Up - NL25 Reg to NL100 Reg By 2011

Dont Be Scared Move Up (Part 3) - NL100 Reg to NL??? Reg By 2012

Dont Be Scared - Lopping Off The `C` Game

A brief overview is that i had played too many hands at NL25 last year without trying to move up. I eventually moved up to NL50 with the help of coaching from NL_Fool in the middle of the year, and then later in the year moved up to NL100 after decent results. I then discovered Rush and played that just about exclusivly until January this year. I have had tilt problems in the past and they really hit me this year and i went on a couple of downswings and withdrew a lot of my money as `punishment`. I took a break and came back to playing NL50 which ended up in a 35 BI downswing and i took a break again. I started playing NL25 Rush this time and although still beating the games, tilt was eating away at me. Im now in the middle of a coaching course with Jared Tendler and ive also moved back to the normal tables to try and instil some confidence in my game.

What Im Looking For:-

I am looking for coaching at NL25 with the aim of moving up. I need to know that you are commited to helping me do that, this bit is very important. The coaching must be affordable as i am now only rolled for NL25 but bordering on NL50 but i want to get confidence back in my game before moving up.

I am wanting someone to give me a plan. I want my game to improve but sometimes i dont know how to do that. I want someone to tell me where i am going wrong and what i need to do to fix it, be it study this, or be it watch that. Im never sure what order to study things so i want someone to help me with that after looking at my game.

Im wanting regular coaching as i feel this is the best help to me. For those reasons i would prefer an experienced coach but i am open to offers. If your not experienced in coaching im obviously going to need a lot more information from you regarding winrates and references and how you think you would be able to help me so i can feel confident that you can offer me what i am looking for. If you are an experienced coach im obviously going to need references more than results so i can see you have a proven track record of helping people and we can chat about whether you think you can offer what i am looking for.

Im from the UK and work roughly a 9-5 job(not that many hours at the moment though so there should be some flexibility) so im going to need to know about availability as well. It would be helpful if you are available outside of the sessions too. Im not going to be bothering you all the time if at all but need to know if i have questions or hands then you will answer eventually and not just ignore them.

I may be open to profit sharing in exchange for coaching depending on the deal.

Heres a quick run down of my results from January 2010 so you know what your working with:-

NL25 6.19bb/100 337K Hands
NL25 Rush 4.48bb/100 57K Hands
NL50 3.29bb/100 200K Hands
NL50 Rush -0.12bb/100 28K Hands
NL100 2.23bb/100 37K Hands
NL100 Rush 1.84bb/100 173K hands

Cliffs:-

Need a coach for NL25.
Must be affordable.
Im taking it serious and i need to know you will too.

If you are interested please PM me with details, offers or any questions.

MTT Player Seeking NL Cash Coaching

Ok, So Im 19 year old winning MTT player and I play mostly midstakes mtts along with sunday majors, I am seeking 50 - 100 NL coaching to start. I've barely played any cash games so not sure if 6max or Full Ring is better for me. I am a good learner and I have a pretty good feel for NL. I just want to expand my knowledge in different areas of poker so I can play a more variety of games so that its convenient for me to play whenever. I am dedicated to learn cash games and would be very motivated to learn

Heres link to my p5s profile:http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/shipthisplz/

Coaches can pm me here on 2+2 or over on p5s
